Can I assume, from the picture used, these are going to be RaceConcepts rotors, and most of the stuff from them?

SprintMax, just got back to you through PM.

Hey Chris... this website might be of use: http://www.princeton.edu/~asad/zbrakes/

The calipers I am selling are the 30mm Aluminum ones used on all 1991 300zx, and the other cars they were used on are listed on that site.

Hey man74, the particular kit you are referring to is sold by Matt93se here on the org. He has the brackets and can probably get you the rotors. I can get you the lines and the calipers for the upgrade. If you are interested email or pm me with your info. Thanks!

The kits I sell come with lines, so there's no need to purchase them elsewhere. you'll need to get the calipers, pads, and rotors yourself.. I can supply you with several places to get the rotors, but I suggest getting the calipers from Derrick. He can sell them to you cheaper than I can buy them elsewhere, so just go there.

Bobby, email me if you want a quote on the SS lines, let me know which ones you want.

Yaquito: I do not believe the oem rims will clear, but i've never looked into it for the 2k4 rims.

hey derrick, just to be clear,

am i correct in assuming that our stock rotors must be milled down in order for these calipers to work?

also, are there any other calipers that we could use that require no milling?

thanks

Hey resurrected:

No, no! The stock rotors cannot be used for these calipers. It's the Z rotors that need to be milled down.

You have a few options here. Personally I would go with Matt's upgrade, with the 2k4 rotors and 300zx calipers. No milling required, just use the bracket he provides you with.

I just spoke to someone that has been running 300zx brakes on his 4th gen for a while now. According to him, his 300zx brembo rotors did not require any machining whatsoever. Has someone actually confirmed that 3-5mm as quoted, needs to be machined off the diameter of the stock 300zx rotors?

So, maybe i overlooked it, but will thse calipers fit the 2K2 with no issues? Im about to spend 400 bucks on some brakes anyway, so why not go with some awesome calipers for a little more? Price still good BTW?

ptatohed: what was the point of your post? Would you like a 30 cent discount? Despite being sold out right now, I will still reply to your post. The 2.9 plus 30 cents is paypal's fee. in order to be fair, i wanted to post exactly AND I MEAN EXACTLY what i am being charged to receive payments. At first i was just going to put 3% to make it easier on the eyes and on calculations, but i realized that that would be cheating customers out of money because that would obviously be more than 2.9 plus 30 cents for transactions as large as the $500 you so nicely pointed out. Anyways, if you don't like the 30 cent charge, please don't purchase, thanks.

so you mean that z caliper upgrade does not fit our stock wheels....so someone like me who lives in NY shouldn't bother because i have to change my wheels come the winter....

I just think the 30 cents is petty, tacky and unprofessional.

"At first i was just going to put 3% to make it easier on the eyes and on calculations, but i realized that that would be cheating customers out of money because..."

Sure but that is not your only option. How about just making 2.9% and being done with it?

And please correct me if I am wrong but you only pay a 2.9% (+ 30 cents!) if we use a credit card, correct? If we use a bank transfer, it is free to you.

EDIT: ptatohed - I have nothing personal against you man. I feel it necessary to defend Derrick, as I've done business with him. Please don't take my comments too personally, yet all my points are still valid. Thanks.

I personally think your assult on Derrick is unprofessional and childish. Have you purchased anything from him before? Derrick is a GREAT seller, answers any and ALL email AND calls to his cell phone and, imho, can charge as he damn well pleases.

Why does it concern you what his options are? Why should a seller/businessman lose money? So that one bigmouth doesn't consider him "unprofessional?" Derrick has taken the higher road on this subject by being completly honest and straightforward with the fees - I personally charge people a full 3%. Call me what you will.

And please correct me if I am wrong but you only pay a 2.9% (+ 30 cents!) if we use a credit card, correct? If we use a bank transfer, it is free to you.
Try reading this fee schedule, available on paypal's HELP page.

https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/we...receiving-fees

For people like Derrick and myself, who send/receive many payments, we cannot have "free" or "basic" accounts - we must use the business/premire accounts to receive credit card payments. Once you upgrade your account, ALL received moneys are charged the 2.9% + .30 fee.

Consider yourself wrong.

DERRICK - keep up the good work bro. I got your back.
