global_threat: thank you for the defense. i'm glad someone has the common sense to see my point(s).

to everyone else still interested in calipers, i am trying my best, but i believe that i must have taken many of the calipers available from leading distributors and because i did not trade in cores they dont have many calipers coming in. Over 100+ calipers have sold just in the last months so the supply is sort of low.

I will try my best and post as soon as I can get some in stock!

Hi,

Your set is for the front, do you have a set for the rear?

Thanks.

Im interested in calipers too for my 6th gen max. WHat do I need to convert to 300zx calipers? Will I be able to get ss lines for my car? Will I need Matts relacation bracket so I can use my stock rotors? Thanks. BTW, since you are nearby, I can come and pick them up if you can source some.

Yes yes. Do you have a setup for the rear? Like lines and do you know if the 2pot aluminum 300ZX calipers will work too?

But PM me. I'm definitely down for the SS Brake lines and the SS clutch line.

derrick with your kit calipers lines fluid pads and rotors, i thought you needed that custom made braket so the 300zx calipers will bolt onto the maxima and i noticed that you didnt offer that bracket with your kit. is it a common misconception? will the 300zx calipers bolt onto the maxima without that braket?

Yes the 300zx Calipers do fit the 2k2 Maximas. You'll need the hardware and bracket from matt. The rear brake conversion is very time consuming just to let you know.

Derricks kit is not the actual Big Brake Kit. He's selling eveything seperately. Calipers come rebuilt with all the necessary hardward. No, the z calipers will not fit on the maxima directly. you'll need to purchase the brackets from matt if you want the 2k4 brake upgrade(5th gen upgrade) or from jeff if you want the 13 inch cobra up grade(4th and 5th gen upgrade 5th gen requires modifications).

You'll need 17 inch wheels or bigger with a clearance of 2.5 inchs from the rotor to the spokes of the wheel.

I doubt derrick has any in stock(correct me if i'm wrong). If i were you, just go to ebay or a junk yard and rebuild the calipers yourself.

a33: thanks for answering all of those questions.

Right answers on most.

When it comes to fitment, the calipers will mount fine on your maxima. Matt's kit is for 2k4 rotors and jeff's is for cobra rotors. If you are planning to use z32 rotors then you do not need a custom bracket. However, you may need to have the rotor milled down a few millimeters, although I have heard of .org'ers that have not had to mill at all. It must be a case by case basis, so you will probably have to mount them first on your car to see what needs to be done.

I am actually out of stock on calipers, but I do carry stock on every single item. When I began the Buy I had about 25 sets of calipers in stock, but between here, the 240 guys, and local orders they were gone in a few weeks. Still trying to find a source on calipers, but it's not easy.

Thanks to everyone for their interest!

if you were running just the z32 calipers and the z32 rotors, i believe a 16 inch wheel would work, but with a specific offset and width. If you were running the 2k4 or cobra rotors, i believe 17 is the minimum.

Anyone know what offset and width would work? I have 7.5'' wheels. I doubt they'd fit
