The new headers look a lot shorter will the catbacks still connect fine if so count me in just have to wait for x-mas money

 

Compared with previous versions, the primaries on the manifolds are just as long, and the outlet of the y-pipe is face to face with the inlet of the cat, so I think that all is good.

Ok so I just got the Greddy Evo 2 Catback exhaust I just want to double check and make sure if i get the cattman header/y pipe combo that i can bolt that directly to main cat and from there directly to my greddy cat back. I have the money and am ready to purchase the headers. I am also interested in the o2 sims obviously two for my same order. Estimate on shipping to 02745 New Bedford Ma?

Well... I'll just quickly point out that you'd be happier with the performance and sound - especially with a header set - if you'd purchased a Cattman catback (currently on deep discount), and then move on to your questions.

There's no need to double check, our header/y-pipe terminates exactly where the stock y-pipe does. Think about it - how could this be a successful part if it wasn't designed that way?

The price is still $799 and shipping will be approximately $30 to anywhere on the East Coast. Ordering is simple, just give us a call at 520.575.6195, we're open 10-5 MST (12-7 EST), M-F. These are backordered pending the first shipments next week. Orders we're taking now should be filled during the third and fourth weeks of January. Note that the original thread is over 2 years old, and it was for the original New Zealand-made headers (ceramic coated mild steel, don't make the power that the new ones do) - so there is no group deal. There is an introductory price of $799 that will go up to $849 after the first two batches of 25 (50 total) are sold. Right now, we've sold about 40, so there are about 10 more at the intro price.

We are shipping all of the headers in the first batch that are for VQ35DE motors (about 10, without EGR ports) this week; today, tomorrow, and perhaps Thursday. The 15 VQ30DE headers (w/ EGR ports, making up the balance of the first batch of 25) should ship next week, but we are not charging those CCs yet. Second batch of 25 will go into production right away, materials are arriving now.

i'm confused why people continue to call this set up a "header and y-pipe".

 

the headers come with their own y-pipe.

 

We'll be shipping the remaining units from the first batch of 25 headers (all the ones with EGR ports) on Thursday of this week (18 January).

First units from the second batch will follow in another week or two.

it's like saying i'm gonna buy a cat-back and b-pipe. just kinda confusing when people put it like that.

 

the header system (or header/y-pipe system) includes two manifolds, the y-pipe that forms the connection between the two manifolds and the cat, and an installation kit.

Never mind where the deal came from originally, right now, with the current production, we'll take a few more header orders at the intro price of $799 (up to the first 50 units), and then it goes to $849. Shipping within the US will run $20-37, depending on the distance from Arizona.
