I ordered mine from a different vender. I didn't know about Urban Import when I was searching for these D2 coilovers. Anyway, mine came in today so I'll be installing them this weekend. I'll post up some pics in the 4th gen forum or general forum.

Hey I spoke with Mike (if not mistaken on the name) this morning, he said the D2 were at the customs at the airport, he was hoping to get the shipment custom cleared today, he said he would ship tommorow if he get the D2 today. I cant wait to get my set, slap them on and give you some feed back.

D2 forgot to include all the paperwork with our shipment which made clearing the shipment through customs a pain in the ***. Fortunately everything has been figured out and the coilovers cleared customs this evening. I am picking up the coilovers from the customs depo tomorrow morning and then dropping them at UPS on our way out of town for the Nopi Nationals. If you need a tracking # on your shipment please PM me with the name and address the coilovers were shipping to and I will get back to you Monday morning when we return from the show.

Hey Greeneyes, I'm wondering if I should wait until next spring before I install the D2, winter is only 3 months away and I would hate to damage those beauty with salt, snow and all the winter $hit. This is the last winter my max will see so I've got mix feeling, I'm anxious to see the max with a nice drop and a better handling but at the same time I want to preserve the D2.

Yeah I hear you... I want to put them on, but then again winter is just around the corner. I dunno is ther someway that we can winterize them to keep them from getting damaged during winter? I was thinking of maybe installing them for the spring and summer and whenever winter comes to take them off but it seems like to much work.

yeah but see its gonna be different with coilovers cause theres no need to compress the springs in order to take them off. At least thats what I've been told. Hey where in Illinois do you live??

for the D2's, you'll still have to compress the rear cause you'll need the stock strut mounts

On 4th gen, if you order the top mount, then you don't need to compress the rear springs.



I just finished install mine. Here are some installation tips.

Put the brake line bracket on the lower bolt on the front strut. It's closer to where OEM route the line. I tried both.



The upper hole on the lower part of the front struts is oval shape. This will allow you to put more positive camber in addition to the camber plates.



Towards inside the car = Negative camber. Towards outside of car = Positive camber. Make sure you tighten these two bolts down really good. If not, the top bolt might move and cause all kinds of noise. Plus scraping way the aluminum material. I learned this the hard way.

I had some squeaky noises in my rear suspension for awhile. I think I found the problem. Buy these strut spacers from Nissan. I bought some for the front too.

Hey guys, got mine today, I'm really impress with the quality and all this for 825$ that was a heck of a deal, thanks again to Urban Import crew, I wouldn't hesitate to buy other stuff from them. I'm still debating if I should install it now or wait next spring... My guess is they will go on the car during the week end but since I have to pick up my Murano tommorow, it might keep me away from thinking about it.

I'll let you know when I make up my mind.
