i have the alarm arm on silent. but if it goes off, it is as loud as the clip

factory alarm or after market?? i have the factory alarm so when i lock my doors it always chirps the horn.......

read the instructions on the back of the fob. you can make it where it will not chirp, when you arm it. hold both lock and unlock for 2-6 seconds

Yow! Those sound nice! Thanks for the link to the clip.

I was checking out the back of my fob, though, and don't see anything about setting it to silent. I guess I'll just try the lock & unlock for 2-6 seconds to see if that does the trick.

You can't get them in black, but, I don't see any reason why you couldn't paint them if you felt like it.

good look is slang for good lookin' out or thanks a lot... you taught me something about the chirp and now i taught you something... by the way, holding the buttons for 2-6 seconds worked

Just got my horns today and the install was a breeze. These horns are "Hella" loud and can wake the dead. Thanks for the group deal bsetiawan. Time to go find me someone to honk at.

honking is not legal, unless used to avoid accidents or to inform drivers/pedestrians of dangerous conditions. at least not here. it has become a way to say :f u, without having to yell it out. i don't think horns were invented for the reason they get used these days...
