There are no wires included. You only have to get a shot wire to ground the extra terminal to the chassis or the mounting point of the horns.

I'm sorry but I don't have a sound clip of it. It will also sound different if you hear it in person and from the sound clip.

What do you need those numbers for ? They are all the same, no variations. Attached are images on the back of the horns. There are several numbers on the back. The one next to the "Made In Germany" says 05661. Two more are 20033 and 0020033. if you cannot see the number, save the picture onto your desktop and enlarge them using photo editor.

i am interested in a set of these myself for my 99 max. i in saw the pictures of the install on the first page and it looked like all that was done was the terminal that plugged into the factory horns were pluged into the hella horns and then a ground was added. Is this all that is needed for install on a 4th gen? do the relays and other wiring need to be used or is this "plug and play"? also which horn should go in the engine bay and which should go behind the grill. should the 300 Hz low tone be behind the grill or in the engine bay. i just wanna know what i am getting into as far as instal goes before i get these. thanks

Installation is the same for all model years. Just plug the factory wiring into either terminal and connect the other terminal to the chassis or battery negative. It also doesn't matter which frequency tone is placed where. It all depends on personal preference.

The loudness or amplitude is measured in dB (decibels). Every increase of 3dB means the amplitude is doubled; 2x louder. The different frequency determines the pitch; 500Hz has higher pitch compared to the 300Hz. For illustration purpose, usually men has deeper voice (300Hz) compared to women (500Hz). Hope that helps.

If it's that simple why the need for the relays included with the kit? would the horns perform better if the relays are used from the kit. sorry for such noob questions but i wanna make sure it is wired in correctly.

If you want to install these together with your stock horns, then you will need to use the relay because the stock wiring is not strong enough to support 4 horns.
