i just relocated the second horn from inside the engine bay to the front. they are very loud now. i highy recommend it..

 

For the last 2 people that have just sent their payment, your horns will be shipped on Monday and I will e-mail you guys with the tracking number later in the evening.

 

I'm sorry but the last 2 sets were taken on Friday. Unless there are buyers for at least 15 sets, my supplier won't be ordering any more of these cause it takes forever to move them.

does it matter what kind of wire we use to ground it? i have extra wires from fixing my lamp will that do? also can i use the mounting bracket as a grounding point? anyone have a working pic? thanks

you can use any wire to ground it. I did ground mine to the mounting bracket for the one under the hood to the left of the engine

I would think so since they need 15 horns, not 15 people.

^^^ i know what ya mean Hula. i was kinda digging through the GD section and saw this and wanted to revive it! unfortunately, no response from the seller. I will PM him soon. others also to show support for another deal.

Well 86maxima96, I PM'd bsetiawan yesterday but haven't received any response yet. Hopefully he'll be able to revive this GD when we get to 15.

There are 2 stock horns...1 right next to the motor on the left side next to your belts and 1 in the front bumper.

what i meant was when i took them out they were 2 identical horns. I wanted to mount them both up front like a few other members on the board has so it too a little groping around in order for me to connect the power and the ground to one of the horns.

while im here, the horns are suppose to sound diferent from each other right? one with a higher pitch, one with lower?

 

To my understanding, they should be different tones (300Hz low tone
500Hz high tone). I don't have them yet so I can't tell you from experience. I'm still hoping this old GD can be started again.

 

Hey in interested in a set....how much is it this time around if there are 15 sets being sold? Im really interested.
