Finally got these installed. It seems like the connections are pretty open to water and moisture, especially the one mounted behind the grille. Did anyone do something about this?

Just put a little dielectric grease on them and you're fine. I've had those for 4 years like that and have no problems at all.

The dust could be from the box being disintegrated protecting the horns.

I got mine today and attempted to put them in...

How did you guys put them on? there's so little space to work with and the bolts holding the stock horns on are so rusty.

Would it be easier to just take the stock horn off the stock bracket and put the new horn on, or just take the stock bracket and horn off and put the new one in?

you have an aftermarket alarm?
I want this alarm I've heard on like old broncos where the horns just blast continuously until its turned off. I loved it because it doesn't sound like an "alarm" its something that won't be dismissed because its so annoying.

donno how it is in ny but I live in houston. The people where I live don't seem to have that barbaric (its loud lets throw someting at it) mentality or logic.
So no risk here.
And i find those 10 tone cheap spaceship sounding alarms much more annoying.

damn, just found out that my horns were delivered the other day to my house, which is good, but doesn't really help considering my car is back there in MN and I'm in Bozeman, MT. Oh well, Thanksgiving Break can't come soon enough.

I do have a aftermarket alarm I have the viper 791. When the alarm goes off you still hear the 10 tone alarm but hardly, all you really hear is that horn honk pulsating

I have shipped out the horns to those that have paid and update the tracking number through PayPal. I'm sorry if I missed your tracking number. PM me your name and address and I'll check it out for you.

You MUST connect the extra terminal to a ground, like the car's chassis.

Thanks, I figured it out. They work.
They are loud.
Is one supposed to be a different tone than the other? So they make one certain combined sound.
it sounds a bit high pitched. I feel like there is a way to alter the sound
