one more question. is this a replacement for the strut mount meaning the metal plate that goes on top of the strut or is this something else. i need new strut mounts badly and the only place that carries them is nissan and they can't get them for like a week. please get back to me ASAP thanks.

This replaces the factory metal plate on the top of the strut, in the rear.
