hey 96vq, what's up man?? long time, the car is running good, that 240 was in terrible condition, but we've been working hard on it! Thank you for payment I'll ship out ASAP.
UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who has sent payment in the last day or so. We SOLD OUT again! I will try to get my hands on some more. Thanks!

When I tried to install I was not able to used the mount that connects the stock rubber line to the hard line. The SS one seemed to be too short. I was able to get it but I had to bend the hard line, and just have it sitting there. Is this normal? By the way thanks for the fast shipment. I was able to use this instead of the $40 part that a nissan would have to order and it only replaced half of the line when my line started to leak.
I need this! As the other guy said, 25 is cheap for the frustration my system has put me thru. And has anyone else installed them yet? Bending the hard line seems like a bad idea to me

hey guys, sorry for the late response! I received so many payments so fast I couldn't keep up. I told a few guys it was okay to pay and then I received over 20 orders all of a sudden from out of nowhere. anyways, I had my next batch arrive to me today and all lines that have not been shipped out yet will be shipped out as of tomorrow (as a matter of fact I am packaging and sticking labels on right now!).
as far as bending the hardline goes, you definetely should not have to do that. if anyone else has this problem please please let me know. Thank you to everyone who has paid!
Anybody else need one? I ordered a decent supply now, feel free to send payment! Thanks again to everyone!

Derrick, could you produce these for VE's and VG's? (they are probably the same lol).
FWIW it's similiar to the front brake lines, I had a friend use a 4th gen front brake line on his VG 5spd because he didnt have any money and I had it laying around lol

hey mr gone, i am currently looking into the 3rd gen lines. As usual with our 3rd gens, they are not a common item and therefore the company i get my lines from doesn't even have the accurate measurements for them. I am going to do some research to get the measurements and end fittings and if there is enough interest i will start selling those too. thanks
looks like it fits the 02's for the 6-speed tranny.
does this come with instructions or does anyone have them, i just want to see how hard the install is and if i can do it myself
if its simple then ill pay right away

I believe you can do a search through google and find the replacement instructions for your clutch line, but there aren't instructions provided here. It basically is good to do if you are planning on bleeding your clutch anyways.

Derrick,
Thanks again for putting this groupdeal together. I received the clutchline today and had it installed at turbo95max's house. The clutchline is indeed too short by about an 1-1.5 inches. We ended up removing the hardline from its bracket (where the stainless line connects) which gave some allowance to complete the install. I wish I took some pictures but you it will be obvious what I am talking about when you perform the install.
Note: It helps to remove the slave cylinder to get to the banjo end of the line.

hey Derrick....as enticiveblkmax juss mentioned. The SS line is about 1-2 inches too short. his car is a 97 SE factory 5speed not a conversion. (if that makes a difference to you or not)

Thanks for the info Matthel, I'm going to be having them make the lines 2 inches longer from now on. Oh, and I am still on the hunt for your calipers, I have been sold out for a week and a half now!

Hey 3rd genners reading this that were interested, please check this thread: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....88#post3276788 Thanks!
Does everything work OK? How does the clutch feel?
I'm not too happy about the SS line being too short....

Which end is the banjo? I'm kinda disapointed about the line being too short as well. Is there any downside to removing the hardline from the bracket? Do you get any rattling from it? If you did bend it does this effect the feel of the clutch?
I guess it is my own fault that I assumed the line would fit correctly. I can't believe you would have a group deal on a product that doesn't even fit right. Also a product that you didn't even test fit yourself.
That's unacceptable.

Hi Spindation as well as everyone disappointed with the length of the line
I will be contacting the company tomorrow to figure this out with them. They should have given me the right length in the first place.
As far as your comment about this being "unacceptable", I agree, however I hope the blame is going to be thrown at me. I ordered the specific "4th and 5th gen VQ clutch line" from the company and they sent me exactly that. Am I supposed to test fit it to double check with a reputable company such as technafit? And at the same time, I sell clutch lines and brake lines for over 15 different cars now, and let me tell you, it would be a helluva task to go through every single part and verify that it is properly made and then go and do what you said and "test fit them yourself"! I have to trust the company's reputation and my past experiences with them and make a judgement based on that.
Anways, I will be calling them on Monday and trying to sort this out with them. Let me try to make this easy for everyone, give me a day or two.

I just didn't install it in the bracket and zip tied (love those things) it to something else. It works great. It looks and works fine now. I just went and looked at it. Derrick saved me a bunch of money compared to the nissan OEM line. As I said earlier they wanted $40 for 1/2 the line. Derrick also sent it too me very quickly, within a few days.
Yeah it was a little frustrating for the line to be a little short but it is not a huge deal. It was the least of my worries with the stock line leaking and me not being able to drive my car. It may just be for 4th gens. If the lines were a tad longer or you don't mind improvising a little then it is definitely worth it.

Yes the word "unacceptable" is a little too harsh. I just can't stand when parts don't fit correctly even when they are supposedly made for that car. I understand that its only an inch or 2 away from fitting, its only $25, and you can make it fit with some modification. It is just irritating. I appreciate that you will talk to manufacturer to try to get the part corrected. Just keep us posted.
I agree that this isn't the largest problem I've dealt with my car before. I'm more suprised that it doesn't fit than dissapointed. I also agree that its very odd for Technafit to have fitment issues. I have heard that company name in good regaurds numerous times before.
hey
hey derrick i paid but i want to make sure i will be getting the longer line from you for my 2002 se. unless i dont need the longer line..put please update me on my arrival of my product which i paid for 4 days ago. thanks

UPDATE: For those of you who either 1.) are waiting for the longer lines or 2.) have received the shorter line and have not installed because you want the longer line
I have spoken to technafit and they have told me that if indeed they made a mistake in the length of the line, they will accept the old lines back and will exchange them for the proper length lines. They went ahead and have ordered an oem clutch line from their local nissan dealer, and are inspecting length. I should know within a day or two and if they indeed begin to accept the old lines back, I will let everyone here know to mail them back to me so that I can send the new lines out to you guys. Thanks!

Anyone with a 5th gen, can you hold up the SS line to the stock clutch line on the car to compare lengths? (I don't know how accessible it is.) I wouldn't be surprised if Technafit made the line for VQ30DE-Ks and/or VQ35DEs and simply assumed it would also fit the VQ30DE.
