I have some drop in K&N and drop in Apexi filters on the way. The K&N will be here in about 10 days, the Apexi are at least a month away (they ship via sea cargo freight from Japan).

The apexi is a direct replacement for the OEM filter??? Wow, I didn't even know they made them...

You are reading that right. I have ordered them from Apex Japan, they will be here probably in late Nov or Dec, the stuff ships via sea cargo.

I have not seen them out here in the states yet, maybe the Maxima community will be the first to get them.

Man hit me up with the price for K&N # RF-1039 and MAF adapter for 2k1 max.
BTW will this conf work? since you have 2k max u only person who can give right answer. Thanks
