Also, Mark97SE I'm not sure if brad is willing to break up a set, I'll try to remember to ask next time I contact him.

Looks like it won't be until around the 19th...but I'll be sure to let everyone know when the time comes.

If this was in response to my "expressed interest" post, I made that because it occured to me that those people had never actually committed so it really isn't fair to give them first dibs over people who posted later, but did commit to buying. It didn't really matter before, but currently we have more 4th gen people (when everyone--"expressed interest" included--is counted) than this run of the GD can support.

Talked to brad...He's ordering an extra set of rears for you. He said they will be $117.30.

I'm afraid that there was some confusion between Brad and the person that actually makes orders, so they weren't ordered friday. They told me they would order them today...so they should have them in about two weeks from TODAY. That means we should be able to start ordering around November 23rd (in case you haven't noticed I've recently learned the code for colored text ). I hope this doesn't cause any problems for anyone, and I am upset too. I also just checked my email and found a message from brad asking me to call, so I hope whatever his question is didn't delay the order.

I had them order 15 4th gen sets and 10 5th gen sets since the last GD sold more 4th gen sets and this GD seems to be following the same trend. Brad seemed very open to future illumina GDs so if there aren't enough don't worry.

There is one 5th gen set left. I don't really know how to give these away since just sending out pms to the people on the list in order could take as long as it will take for the next order to come in. I think I'll PM all the 5th gens (except max5spd who doesn't want them 'til next year) and the highest person on the list who replies by 8pm tomarrow (24hrs) will get the ordering instructions. I hope this is acceptable to everyone and I apologize if anyone who doesn't check the boards as often feels this method is unfair...It's the best way I can think of. If anybody has a better way to do it let me know.

That could cause a problem, I was in the process of giving the instructions to buy the last set, which it sounds like you may have gotten...Do you know if they still have more after your order?

I called Brad back and his question was in regards to selling a tokico strut/spring combo. He didn't have a price yet, but when he does he will email it to me and I'll pass the info on to you guys.

Sorry to nag, but did he give you any idea on the timeline for that pricing. I'm anxious to see how the 4th gen Tokico combo GD price will compare to the eBay combo price. I'd much rather support orgers if justifiable. Looking forward to an answer soon.

He didn't, however he seems to be pretty good now that he is back from sema. Unless you're in a huge hurry I'd wait as he was able to beat the ebay prices on struts alone, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if he can beat their prices on the kit.

This post is in regards to giving away the ordering instructions for the 5th gen set. I sent out PM's to all the 5th gens (except max5spd who said he wouldn't be ordering until next year, and speed6 who wasn't signed up at the time). I recieved pms back from mjk, HitmanAngel2k3, and chigga. Mjk would have gotten them since he is highest on the list, but he said he wouldn't be installing them until next spring so doesn't mind waiting to order. So I sent the instructions to the next highest on the list, HitmanAngel2k3. I think this was really cool of mjk to offer to wait, so I would like to thank him (or her as the case may be) for helping to make this as pleasant an experience as possible fo everyone.

I hope this method wasn't a problem for any of you 5th gens that weren't able to reply, but you will all certainly be able to get a set if you still want one...You'll just have to wait a little longer.

Doesn't appear to. You can check out their website at www.performancepeddler.com. They have eibachs, and we'll see they may be offering springs with these struts at a discounted price.

Not a problem for me. Just means you have to wait a few more weeks like everybody else. There was a 5th gen set that I was giving the ordering instructions for...that's what all that was about.

Just got my Illumina's installed today

I just got my H&R/Illumina's installed today!!! WOW, what a difference!!! You are going to like these shocks!! Very smooth, much more connected-with-the-road feeling (H&R's helped too!!).These shocks make my Maxima much less nervous, and jittery feeling, and significantly more "solid" feeling. It is like I am driving a different car!!! Currently set/up at 2 front and 2 back. I will probably leave them at this setting, as it is very comfortable and smooth, and handling is improved very noticably (again, H&R springs are responsible for part of this improvement too). Just thought I'd give you my first impressions.

about how long until the next gd? I just wanna get a general idea of how long Im going to be waiting...I was told that my struts are weak so I would like to get them asap, but I also know that this is a great buy and it takes time putting this together for us...so if you know of a general timeframe, itd be great...(like a month, 2 months, next year type of thing)

Been running with stock shocks/struts and Progress springs juset over a year, beginning to notice the "klunking/squeking" noise coming from the front of the max. These would solve that problem correct and make the ride nicer? Thanks.

My Illuminas that I ordered on 11/10 came in today. $408 shipped is incredible. I just called the shop and asked for the promotional code for maxima.org members and they set me up. They told me they had some 5th gen sets left.

Thanks for setting this up. I'll have them installed over Thanksgiving.
