Are these hard to install? I have never done any suspension work, am ok with tools, but enjoy working on my car. If I can intall them myself or have someone help me put them on here in Houston or Austin put me down for a set. As long as it is not too difficult to install I want a set.

The 95-99 Maxima is the A32 chassis. The 2000-03 Maxima is the A33 chassis.

its just like springs and shocks, heck i think its even easier since u dont need any spring compressor. any shop at any place should be able to install these within a coupla hours.

its easy, take off wheels, take off old suspention and slap on these bad boys !

if u have tools then it shouldnt be that hard.

Just wondering since it will take a long time to receive them.

I am VERY interested! I'm in the process of buying a house right now so $$$ is tight...BUT I am going to start putting away a little bit here and there. Don't put me on as a definite yet....but I want to stay up on what happens and if things pan out I'M IN! Just FYI - I would need f+r for an A33 (2000 I30). I would also need help on spring rates etc etc.

The rebuild on these are pretty cheap even when you are over your warranty period. I forgot how much exactly but Mark probably can answer this question.

FYI, I paid $750 shipped. I took the risk and I was probably the first person to installed these on the 4th gen.

I would like a really low drop but I drive alot of highway miles, not much racing or autocrossing type of stuff, so I would like something if possible to be softer than the stock SE suspension yet eliminate all wheel gap. If anyone knows what kind fo spring rate I should get please let me know. Thanks!!

Hmm I might consider these, but need some help on picking spring rates too. What kind of drop range do you end up with. I drive in the winter so I'm not looking to be in the weeds. Can these be adjusted to something in the neighborhood of a 1.4"-1.6" drop? How do the threads and such hold up to winter abuse?

Well, someone scratched the **** out of my passenger side doors by walking something against it tonight. So now I have to find out what this is going to cost to get fixed. Please take me off of the list until I find how much $$$$ this is going to cost me.
Thanks

they are coilovers,, you can go from no drop to 4"....my car is dropped about 2.3"..look at my pic on page 1 or 2 of this thread, and see how much lower i COULD go.. but it wouldnt be driveable really..lol
