What's the closest you can get to stock HID headlights on a 2k2? This has probably been asked b4 somewhere on here. Also how much would the kit be for H3 fogs shipped to 01518. Thanks!!

Well, I tried out the 9004's too because they appeared to be the right ones. The kit was terrible, neither bulb worked, and they don't fit out car. The bulb is to long for our headlights and hits the metal shield if installed. Also, the fuse supplied(that we are supposed to use) does not fit our car. It is also the wrong size. Please let me know where I can return these to for a refund.

Hey Guys, I've been working a deal with Umnitza for a conversion kit for my 2000, I want nice white color with a blue tint, would the 5000 or 6000k achieve this?

If I remember correctly, 5000K is yellowish, 6000K is purplish, and 8000K is bluish

Can I get a reply as to why I was sent 1 wrong kit, and 1 malfunctioning kit that doesnt fit my car? I'm leaving for school soon and either need a refund or replacement ASAP. I made it pretty clear that I wanted a 6000k h3 kit and 6000k 9004 kit that match. You sent me one brand that was 5000k and a different brand that didn't work, but was 9004 with longer bulbs that hit the reflector which may upset quite a few members with 4th gens who bought kits.

Actually, I think it's like this:

4500k is white.

5000k is white/blue

6000k is blue/purple.

anything higher will be purple, and eventually blacklight over 10000k

4300K 6000K 8000K

Different companies have different K ratings so color could vary

I'm assuming D2Rs are same price as D2S and D2S bulbs are $164.99. I thought price would be lower.

Excuse me genious - go flaunt your warez on another thread like you have...don't even get me started on how blatant it is you are scamming by coming into this thread and pretending.

Second company to SQARD - you have a phone number, email address, and PMs to reach us, how come you chose one thread where everyone is interested in our product to post that you are unhappy?

Are you a resident of 07866?
You can call us any time.

The answer for you is (if you got our product)...

1) Our supplier informed us that on 3-4 kits - the pins for ground and power were reverse to fit a 9007 application. This was our fault, in each of those cases, I've been in contact with the customer and the pins were properly reversed and all was well.

2) H3 bulbs are real HID bulbs. Not half size 21W bulbs. The longer lenght means better life. When we sold the 21W, we had 5 returns in 10 purchases, so we stopped carrying them. Not the simple solution is to call us and we'll walk you through it.

Not 100% true, but there is a standard that most everyone adheres to and that standard is +/- 200 degrees K.

Umnitza has excellent customer service. If you have a problem, just shoot them and email or pick up the phone. There's no point in hiding in the shadows and complaining.

I got the same 9004 kit as sqard, and the bulbs fit fine. The wires were switched around, but it was an easy fix

Viscous, I had the same wire problem as you. Matt is helping me over the phone but for some reason my bulbs just wont fit and secure in the back of my headlight. I have stock 98 housings. Could you get the bulb to fit in and the black ring to hold the bulb in? I know sometimes its tricky, but I swapped in my old hids and stock bulbs easily.

Sqard, did you take the black foam protection ring off the xenon bulbs? There are two of these rings per bulb, one on the inside of the plastic cover, and one on the opposite side, where the wires come out of the bulb. Make sure you take both of these rings off, along with the clear plastic cylinder before you install the bulbs.

Mansurxk, i'll take pictures soon, when the weather clears up nicer out here. I won't have any stock comparison pictures, but it's not hard to imagine ugly yellow stock output.

Yeah, i took out the foam rings. I had to dremel out the notches on the bottom of the bulb to make them larger and that solved my problem. I've been working with Matt on this and he says i'm the only one with the problem. Was just wondering if I was the only one out there.

That's pretty crappy, sorry to hear. I wonder why your 9004's had that problem, those bulbs should fit all 9004 housings. Is Matt going to help you out in any way? At least you got them in there. Did you get them working yet?
