We have been searching for 5.8 touchscreens that would be good and not too expensive

But these 7" do fit in the headrests( just a reminder)!!

Redmax, thank you for the fast delivery, I love the new screen. Installed easy (within an hour), looks and works great.

If anyone has a way to add a switch to turn in off and on please let me know, It's on all the time even when not using the dvd.

Yes You are correct. it just happens that the bezel is perfect for our cars.

is there any particular 5.78 that you guys are interested in?

for those of you asking for touchscreens.. they are use for "carputers" . . so if you plan on sticking a computer in your car and want to interface with it, touchscreen is the way to go.

I havewn't heard of any commercial VGA display with touchscreen any smaller than 7" ... those run for around $300+. And the touchscreen usually connects to the computer via USB.

Anyways, I bought the microvision screen from Redmax 2 years ago... awesome screen, and the price now is awesome.

Microvision is coming out with a new 5.8 widescreen just like the 7" it will be out on Aprill 1st I can start taking orders for 160 shipped!!!!

The first 2 were 155 shipped the rest are 160 shipped. These are brand new so the price isn't reall different. The 7" have been around for over 4 years! I will see if I can get a better price on the 5.8 when they come in, maybe a deal on 10 sets.

I have 7" in my head rest and they look pimp!! Let's just say that I have ridden in the back of my own car just to watch tv

I recently bought the swivel's so that I can put them in Myu headrest so that I can Angle them up and down for taller or shorter passengers
