hey redmax:

i sent you a pm about a possible refund for my 2 microvision screens, but since you haven't replied yet, let me post it here.

I bought 2 microvision screens from you based on your first post stating that Don (pearl96max) would install them at a discounted price. And it was true, however Don said the screens won't fit on my 5th gen headrests, that if he made them fit it would look too ghetto, thus he does not want to put his name on a ghetto job.

So i decided to go with some myron davis headrest with tvs already installed from Don.

These screen do me no good for now, so i would like to know if i can get a refund.

The screens were never used, not even taken out of the box once.

hmm..anyone have these in their 4th gen headrests? are they any different really? what reasons did he give u besides, "it would look ghetto"? was it fitment or wiring issues?

Has anyone received word from him or any tracking numbers or anything ?? I called him 3 times, twice of which was because he never called back and the third time he said they were shipped last friday, but no signs of communication

 

for the 2 guys that did not recieved their screens yet, I drop shipped them directly from the manufacturer. I have been waiting on tracking from them in Cali and have not recieved them yet. I will call again tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience they will be to you shortly. Also for those that still want screens, this is an On going Group deal. I will have more of my local stock in next monday. Sean The Microvision DVD player is great with the screen and I have a brand new one available 80.

 

These fit PERFECTLY in the 4TH gen headrests!!! They don't fit at all in the 5th gen which has been posted MANY times!! They don't even fit in the 5th gen dash.

 

Got a touchscreen picked out yet Redmax, and how much? I'm interested as well.

Also, another question.. Does this monitor come with everything needed to install? And where can I get a good DVD player for this monitor. And will a PS2 hook up to it? Thanks

 

it comes with the shroud, but you will need some wire to wire it into a headrest. The attached wires are only long enough to run out of the screen. If it's going in your dash, you shouldn't need anything extra. I believe Redmax also sells a Microvision DVD player, but I am using a Blaupunkt DVD player that I found on ebay. Others have used their PS2s also.

 

how much for a 7'microvision touch screen shipped and how much for the non touch screen and what is the best headunit to get with it

All tracking numebers were sent today. My Local Shipment is due in on Wednesday sean. So, The screens are now available again for same day shipment. Sorry guy for the delay. Like I said onceI recieved the numbers from Micro then I would give them to you, Which is what I promised and What I Did.

Is the resolution on these high enough to run a car PC, or should I be looking at something that has a little higher resolution for the fine details of operating a PC. I just like the fact of how nicely these things fit in the dash.

I am very interested in this screen. I currently have a alpine 9835 head unit with a system. I have a 1996 maxima SE. Can this screen fit good into the double din spot and i put this alpine head unit down in the lower slot and hook up the face to the screen for audio. Now also add a ps2 connected to the screen. Can this be done? If so i would love to purchase one of these.

How is that Alpine working for you? I got into the market a bit too late to pick up a new one. I think I will be able to get one after all...But I've read nothing but good reviews about this HU. What's your opinion on it?

Also I was wondering what head unit are you guys hooking it to? The best deal I can find is the SoundStorm SDVD650T for $200. I want something with TV and DVD that can produce decent sound. What do you guys think?
