I want one for my dash but it's just too visible for my taste. I might go with head rest unless I can get someone to make some sort of wood grain cover for the screen. Can the screen in the dash be on while the car is in drive?

 

I know a lot of car audio shops are suppose to wire you're screen to your e-brake, that way it cant be on while in drive, because i know in my state it is illegal for any video infront of the driver to be playing....however, a lot of people work ways around it. and if you get pulled over, it's your best chance...on saying it was a screen saver, or it plays while a CD plays...

Greenlight the reason people love these so much is that they look factory. when people see them they think its factory Navigation and don't touch it! My car was broken into about 2 months ago and they stole my headrest. not my dash tv

i heard the 7"inches will fit the 5.5's but you cant install a Headunit with it unless you take out the center vents or take out the ash tray and custom fit the headunit in there. I was wondering will I be able to put in a 5.8" screen with a headunit all in the center console without any custom work?

Whats up buddy? I am in the process of starting the Carputer and I was wondering if the touchscreen will fit flush like the normal ones will or if its diffferent? Also, I never saw a specific price on the screen, thanks buddy!

Also, anybody know if I could get the normal one and use that as the main screen for a carputer or not? Thanks

yea,i would cop one,but i have a 2001,and i thought i read that it wouldnt fit properly. Im still trying to find out if thats true or not,because i'd rather have this than a motorized flip out screen.
