There is no "setup" to install the screen. It mounts right in where the radio is. The two metal plates that hold the stock radio wedge the screen into place. There are no extra parts needed. As for the JVC HU, did you get the 5100 or 6160? I'm just curious.

I have the KD-AvX1. It is some new Headunit that recently came out . It has a 3" screen built into it which I planned of hooking laptop up to for seeing fuel maps and so on. I'm not that impressed with it, since the cd/dvd part is giving me trouble. I am waiting for a new one to come in. It was a solid 6$ bill. It looks cool with the blue background to match my blue lit interior.
Do you have one of those JVC you mentioned. If so let me know if you like it. I always used JVC and have loved em till now.

I will purchase a screen. Thats kool that it fits so nicely with mod. But do I need anything for the relocation of the headunit. I have the flip down compartment.

I do not have a JVC hu, but have been concidering the 6160. As for the relocation, most single DIN radios will fit right into the spot for the flip down.

Do you currently have one of these in stock ready to ship?

it comes with the installation assembly to firmly secure it in place. and it actually fits very nicely. there is a write up somewhere. i don't remember where to find it though.

May be interested in buying a screen. Do they fit nicely right in place of where the stock bose system sits? Im about to get rid of my bose and put a headunit in to the storage area under the stock bose, and needed something to fill in place of the stock bose headunit area. This screen would seem to take that place perfectly. Also would run a ps2 to it. Everything I said is do-able right?

After lookin around and asking some questions, I found out for myself it does fit there and comes with everything needed to fit it there. No cutting or modding anything, a perfect fit! Ordering one today.
