The lower the K rating (Kelvin) the brighter the light output is... Weird, but that's how it works... I think it has to do with how close you get to the ultra-violet range of light. The higher the number, the closer to the ultra-violet light range - hence the purplish color...

1. How much longer are the H3 kit bulbs? Or do you know the exact length of the bulb in that kit?

We have shortened H3 bulbs, they are about .5" shorter than normal length D2S and D2R.

2. How much for 6k D2R bulbs + H3 6k kit + the DDE ballast (still don't know what's wrong w/it..)? And, how much for a H3 5k kit + ballast only?

$120+$260 for the Prolumen $230 for these new ones + $10.

3. Do you have a pic of the H3 HID kit's bulb next to a regular H3 bulb? I have to be sure that the back cover of the fog light will fit on there w/a HID bulb.
