Billet Aluminum Pedal Sets

Hey all, just seeing if there is any interest in the billet aluminum pedal sets we make. This is not a groupbuy, more of a sale. As you can see in the picture, the pedals are made from 1/8" billet aluminum and must be riveted in place. After the pedals come off the CNC, we clean up all the edges on the grinder and then brush the finish by hand. It is a cleaner look than most of the pedal sets on the market.

Pedals come with all mounting hardware and instructions. Regular price is $55.00+shipping, for .org members, price is $35.00 shipped. We have the pedals for all generation of Maximas. Sets include dead pedal as pictured.

Manual - 4 pieces included (gas, brake, clutch, dead pedal)

Automatic - 3 pieces included (gas, brake, dead pedal)

Please email us at sales@evolution-autodesign.com with any questions. Thanks.

Most pedals you purchase have mounting clips that hook around the back of the pedals. Our pedals are like certain MOMO pedals and require you to drill into your pedals and pop the rivets through. You can see the rivets in the picture. It allows us to make a slightly smaller pedal (we found that most aftermarket pedals looked too bulky) and it looks a lot cleaner. It's not as hard to install as it sounds. The pedals are backed w/ 3M tape to hold them in place while you drill, so basically you mount them w/ the tape and then drill the holes. Then pop the (included) rivets in. About 20 minutes of work.

So these go over your original pedals?? Not a direct replacement?

Yes, over the originals. There is no way to actually replace the factory pedals, it's a 1 piece assembly. With these pedals, you remove the rubber covers over the brake and clutch and replace with these units.

Have you actually drilled into the pedals yet to see how hard it is? I was speaking with a friend of mine and they said it is pretty hard to drill into the pedal. Please let us know.

Yeah, I was asking if you take off the original rubbers, you do. Is there a how to thing you might have created, to show us what exactly needs to be done. How many holes you have to drill and so forth? Thanks, I am pretty interested.

I do have full instructions, but it's not posted online, it's a printout.

But mforrest, yes I have drilled the pedals in quite a few cars I've installed these pedals on. The gas pedal is easy, it's plastic and you don't actually have to drill through it, just deep enough for the rivet to go in, then it expands. With the brake and clutch pedals, the metal is harder to drill than the plastic on the gas. However, with a proper drill bit, it isn't that hard. Don't cheap out on the bit, and it's a relatively easy job. Get a bad bit, and you'll literally be drilling for an hour.

And I should mention that the pedals already have the holes in them for the rivets.

2 holes need to be drilled for each pedal (except the dead pedal). The picture is of an Audi A4, and the owner wanted us to drill the extra holes in the gas, but it's not necessary.

do they have any rubber? if they don't, do you think a dress shoe might slip?

Sorry, I'll get pics to you shortly. I'm in the middle of a motor swap and things are crazy at the shop.

But you shouldn't have a problem with slipping on the pedals. The rivets help with traction. We haven't had a complaint about slipping, and my wife wears dress shoes every day driving her car to work without problems.

Here are pics of the auto pedals. These are actually from my wife's Integra, but the Maxima pedals are identical. There is no footrest in the pic because she didn't want one, but the pedals I am selling do come with the footrest.

Rivets are installed using a rivet gun.
