The Metal Masters and Ultimates are similar for dust - if you want low dust go with the Deluxe.

Thanks again,

Wanna buy some pads and rotors for my 99 SE, but have difficulty on choosing the pads. When you guys talking about the dust, is it mean the dust to the wheel??? And also wanna know which one most people will buy. One more question, is the Ultimates one going to brake faster than the Metal Masters and then the Deluxe? These seems silly question but i just don't understand that. thanks

Hey, the Ultimate will stop the car quicker and more responsively than the MM or Deluxe. When we refer to brake dust, we are just referring to how quickly the wheel gets dirty. Its simply a look thing...

Thanks,
Jeff

The Deluxe should work fine, though the Metal Masters would stand up better to the rotors... Let us know if you have anymore questions. Really looking forward to doing business with you!

Thanks again,
Jeff

What application does the Stillen kit use? If you can figure that out, I can get you a price.

Thanks,

We've had plenty of customers do this. The Metal Masters will simply last longer by nature, and stand up better against the rotors, than the Deluxe. However, the Deluxe will work with them as well. Just not AS long. Hope that helps

Thanks,
Jeff

$35 for the 1993 rear 240sx ultimates and $43 for the 1995 front maxima ultimates. Shipping to your zipcode for those is $8.90, so the GRAND total will be $86.90. We can still ship them today if you want em, let me know.

Thanks again,
Jeff

They have what PBR calls an "integral shim" built into the back of the pads. Most people use these along with the existing shims on their vehicle. Thats what I did when I changed me pads

Thanks guys!

MM and Deluxe last longer than Hawk HPS. Ultimates are similar. MM And Deluxe don't have as good of stopping power as the HPS, but the Ultimates have better stopping power than the HPS. Does that answer your questions?

Thanks,
Jeff

just givin my mini review on the ultimate pads, these things are great, i did my entire front brake setup today and it was awsome. brembo rotors, ss lines, and ultimate pads. after i did the breaking procedure these things stoped so nicely, for the 1st time i got lifted out of my seat doing a medium haed brake (3/4s of pedal down). this was very impressive and i hear i shouldnt get full potential until after a week of city driving. this is only one day review though....i wash my ride tomorow and will take note on dusting and how the brakes feel throughout the week. noise??????? what noise..dead quiet unlike my raybestos quiet pads. great product and the seller is very prompt.

I just ordered some front pads and while the price is great and as advertised on this site, I don't see how it is a "Group Buy" price if any Maxima owner that doesn't know about the "MAXIMA.ORG DISCOUNT" in the notes section can get the same price.

The Ultimates are the dustiest of the three, but for the performance level (both hot and cold), they are pretty good. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Jeff

Maxima.org members save a couple bucks per set over normal site buyers... Look at the prices and part #'s in this post and then type them in the search box on the site, you'll see the prices are a bit higher...

Thanks again everyone!
