Hey,

I got the front ones way back in february 05 and even have the invoice, but anyhow I finally got to installing them, but while installing them I noticed that one side had bent metal prongs. I tried using pliers to adjust it back so it'd fit in the retainers. They fitted in, but not as smoothe as the other side.

I've been driving for a week, but ocassionaly I feel/hear something from it, perhaps it having trouble floating back out or something. Brakes don't drag or whatever, but ocassionaly that sound tells me I should pay attention to it.

Is there a way I can get intouch for some sort of warranty from PBR/AXISS? or something?

Thanks, Please let me know how I can go about with it.

Sounds like you may not have lubed the pads when installed.

What do you mean by not lubing the pads? I've put brake grease behind the brake pads, and between the shims.

I was told not to use GREASE but to use anti-squeek adhesive.

The braking feels fine, but I don't want to have to worry knowing that one side was 1/2 and 1/2 due to the metal prong thing.

I was speaking about the brake lube that (from what you just posted) you used.

You may want to take this to general dicussion as this is mainly for the GD or maybe PM the sponsor of the GD.

Thanks,
Hopefully Jeff sees it.

I am not pointing fingers or anything, but I was wondering what could be done.

Hey man, if you want to take these off and send them back, we can probably get you a new set coming. Normally noise is not waranteeable, but it sounds like maybe those clips were a problem (though I doubt it). But we do want our customers to be happy. Please PM me for more info.

Thanks,
Jeff

i'd like to purchase some front rotors and full set of brake pads from you guys.

i noticed that on the pads selection my 2000 maxima has 2 different choices.

one for maxes manufactured up to 10/2000 and the other after that.

how do i find out when was my max manufactured?

also, how much for 2 front x-drilled rotors + a set of front and rear deluxe pads shipped to 11104?

i am going to pay with paypal once i get the amount and the type of pads i need to get. on the first page it says to contact you first for paypal payments.

thanks for this great deal, i'll send payment as soon as i find out what the heck pads i need to get.

Yeah, they should work jsut fine, no problem! The Deluxe Plus is a good plan since you'll have such nice rims. I'm assuming you want low brake dust. PM me with your zipcode and we'll get this show on the road!

Thanks again,
Jeff

Hey Mark, thanks for your interest. Pads are $29 for the set and rotors are $28 each. Shipping is $21, so the total would be $106. Our paypal ID is paypal@importrp.com. Really looking forward to doing business with you!

I have a set of NEW PBR ultimates, F and R, for 90-2000 Maxima or I30, want to trade straight up with for a set of PBR deluxe pluses of the same year. I'm in Socal so if someone local is looking for a set of ultimates, just pay for a set of Deluxes from this great vendor and we'll trade!!! PM me if interested.

Sorry for the late reply. I can not PM because of some restriction on my account. I am new but I don't understand why there are so many restrictions. Long time member on G20.net with the same username if you want to verify. I never had this many restrictions on that forum.

Anyway, the manufacture date is July 1999. Thanks
