since you need to clean out your PM box:
I'm interested in the 5W-30 case for $55.20. Is this the cheapest way to buy as opposed to 3 gallon jugs? Well, i guess how much for 1 case plus a quart vs. 3 gallons? Also, what can you tell me about AT fluid since Nissan threatens my 04 can only run with Matic K?
Please add to my quotes 6% PA tax shipped to 17033.
thanks.

It's always better to order a standard case versus individual units. Whenever you break a standard case, AMSOIL charges more for the labor and material to open the standard case and repackage it for shipping.
Concerning the ATF, AMSOIL ATF can be used in place of the Nissan-matic D, but not the K.
Sent you a PM with the pricing and ordering information...let me know if you have any additional questions.

I have all orders drop shipped to customers from the nearest AMSOIL Product Center...this minimizes delivery time, assures you of the widest selection and essentially cuts shipping costs in half. AMSOIL has two product centers in Canada..one in Toronto and one in Edmonton. I have a few other folks from the Toronto area who have ordered oil from me...since you have a Product Center in your local area, I can arrange for you to pick up the order there and avoid all shipping charges...
Let me know what you need and I will calculate a price (dealer cost) for you in Canadian dollars.

Just to let you know, that AMSOIL has announced a small price increase which will take effect on 1 Oct 05. The current pricing as shown in my post will remain in effect for orders I can process before the new pricing takes effect...
As we've seen in essentially all other segments of the economy, the price of oil has affected manufacturing, packaging and transportation. AMSOIL truely does it's best to control costs, but faced with the choice between downgrading the performance of their products (formulating their oils to a lower price/quality) and adjusting their pricing, they have chosen the latter. The company is committed to quality and they will not sacrifice the quality/performance of their lubricants.
Based on my advance information, AMSOIL 5w-30 and 10w-30 will go up $1.80/case (15 cents/qt) and the Series 2000 0w-30 only 60 cents/case (5-cents/qt). AMSOIL is not alone in this situation and we've seen the price of competitor's products rise 30 cents/quart in some cases since the beginning of the summer.
AMSOIL is still very competitive within the industry and considering the many advantages, it remains a great value to the customer, particularly at Dealer Cost, delivered to your door...
On 1 Oct I will edit the ad to include the new pricing...

The oil is now called "Extended Life" and it is formulated to deliver exceptional protection for 7500 mi/6-month intervals or longer where stated by the OEM or indicated by electronic oil life monitoring systems. Let me know how I can help...

[QUOTE=Ammi]I need some more 5w-30 oil. Cheaper to buy case of 12 or galon jugs?[/QUOTE
Simple question, not so simple answer...
Generally speaking, you will save a few cents per quart purchasing oil in the gallon containers versus quart containers. There are 12 quarts in a case and 4 gallons in a case. If you are comparing case lot to case lot, the gallons work out to be a few cents ($0.025) less expensive per quart than the quart containers. However, keep in mind that AMSOIL charges slightly more for individual units (single quarts, gallons, etc) due to the additional manpower and packaging material needed to open a standard case and assemble/prepare a small order for shipping. If you compare a case of 12 quarts to 3 individual gallons, you save $2.40 with the standard case of quarts. However, if you compare 4 individual quarts to 1 single gallon, you save a nickle per quart buying the larger gallon container.
So the bottom line is that while you can save a little money with the larger containers, you need to compare apples to apples and it's always better to stick with a standard unit of packaging.
