Remote start GD...$69 shipped?

Would anyone be interested in this? Just gauging interests prior to giving all info and starting the GD.

This would be for Remote start/Keyless entry wiring info for your car and full instructions.

hmm how easy does this intergrate into a 2k2? how does it work with the stock keyfob, will all other functions still work the same (rolldown windows, etc), and does it come with everything Kevin would need to install it?

Apparently it goes for the same price and higher on Fleabay.

More info can be found here:

http://www.boasecurity.com/rske.asp

Rich, yes itll do keyless entry, Ill be providing an extra relay for the trunk release and wirting info. It is a pretty simple install. Although '99 and up owners will need an immobilizor bypass and a spare key as well. I believe IIRK theres an extra channel to do the windows on 2k2s and up.

DEI product, lifetime warranty, so in other words...got a problem Ill replace it.

Don do I have to buy extra key which should be programmed @ stealership? And what is the immobilizer bypass? (Sorry for my dumpness not so good @ sec systems) BTW is thre any alarm systems which has bypass built-in? I'd buy one of those Don't want to freeze my a** winter mornings

immobilzer shuts down the engine if the wrong key is used or the car is hot wired. It needs the key's transponder to keep running. The bypass allows the motor to keep running without the key in when you use the remote start.

You can probably just get a normal key cut at wal-mart or whatever, and just use the one that is stock with the immobilizer in it as the extra key, it has to be used to either program the immobilizer or to be left in the immobilizer bypass for the remote start to work.... someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Your mostly right, but then you would have to wire the bypass differently. Instead of connecting to the RS as a status output (used during RS activation) you would need to run it to constant. It saves money on buying another key, but eliminates the use of the transponder.

I wish... I just got paid and I'm already broke. I need to move a bill down to the 15th or something.

Plus I talked to the wife about it again (trying to justify moving her Highlander out of the garage and putting in a work bench) I can't do it this year, maybe next though. She keep changing her mind like this, IDK what I'll do Please let the insanity stop... LOL

I've been looking for a keyless for my Mom's Outback and know that she would never use the remote start.

Hey Don, in addition to the remote start do you also have the 771XV or 591XV and can remote start be hooked up to to either of these? If so can you shoot me a price?

Yes I do, I carry the full DEI- Viper,Clifford. Unfortunately online or "over the counter " sales of both are prohibited. So prices would be pointless.

I would definitely be up for a remote start for this price, assuming it could be installed in my 95 SE. Also, any way to hook up the window-rolldown feature with this?

The remote start potential GD is for the BOA 265B made by DEI. It is a seperate unit that has it's own remote.

Standards can be done, but you have to bypass the clutch safety switch. The problem is, most places won't install on standards due to libiality, or if they do install it, they require a waiver. Just for the simple fact you may brainfart one night, and leave the car in gear. Then the next morning you get up, hit the remote start, and your car goes crashing through your garage door, or house.

I want one for the wife's 04' F150. Is there anyway for this or another unit to be integrated onto the vehicle so the stock remote can be used. I already have keyless entry and factory alarm.

I saw this unit comes with it's own seperate remote. I was just inquiring.
