What different about it compared to factory wanna show us the differences?

 

It's the same as OEM except that it is taller. It's a replica of the discontinued original Stillen Type II wing except the 3rd brake light cover is clear instead of red like the Stillen.

 

what is the difference between this one and the altered state type X spoiler besides the price?

 

I believe CE states that this spoiler mounts perfectly into the existing holes of your trunk, the type X does not.

 

I've read that the type X almost fits exactly. All you have to do is use a bigger size drill on two of the holes and presto it fits. WHat do you say C.E.?

 

I have a type X and it does almost fit exactly. I just drilled the holes a little bigger as well, but the ends of the wing do not sit flush against trunk.

The Type X spoiler is very similar to ours. Ours does not fit perfectly into the factory holes but does come very close, just need small modifications. We used the Stillen Type 2 wing as our template, not sure if the Paradox Type X wing did too. If so then they will fit the same. I have seen the quality of the Paradox ones and it is very good, and I think our quality is excellent too. This group deal will end pretty soon because we are almost out of stock on these. Our next shipment will be here in a few weeks. I'll post up when we are out of stock.

Are there screw holes in all 4 legs or only the inner two? The Paradox Type X only has screw holes in the inner two legs. That bothers me because I want to bolt it down by all 4 legs and I don't want to have to plug my outer trunk holes left by my stock SE spoiler. Thanks.

Awwwwww.... cr@p. I don't suppose you would you take an uninstalled Type X as a trade-in on your CE spoiler???

 

I can't believe I am doing this. I am spending $150 just to get those extra bolt holes in the outer legs (I currently have an unpainted, uninstalled Type X sitting in my garage).

thanks!! I'm into that spoiler for around 400 Canadian (370 us or so) for all done. Install, paint/prep, shipping, duties and cost of the spoiler. Crazy, but I think it is worth it!
