There is like not enough information about these things on this gd.

 

they don't make 5th gen hoods...apparently corey has another company that supplys 5th gen hoods...which i am still waiting on...and a refund for the silver CF i can't get.

This thread is a friggin mess. The hoods are really good quality. Awhile back I tried to do a group deal for them direct from Carbon Efx, there wasn't enough serious interest. You can see 2 semi-ok shots here..

I also belive I have 5-6 more pictures that I received from the company back when I tried to get the gd goin. I will look for them. The weight on the hood is about 20-22lbs. There are also several people on the forum with these hoods already, including a red colored one which looks awesome. I may have the original e-mails with the specs on them as well and if I find them I will gladly post them.

No I haven't but I talked to him last week and he said mine should be finished like around friday or so of last week...so...I'm not sure...I'll give him a call later this week. Corey if you get this b4 I call you can you call me.. Thanks

I dont know anything about it being built-to-order or not but I did find a few of those pictures, they turned out to be shots of hoods for other cars, mostly the 350z one. I can post if you like, but they may be on the site. Still looking for the full hood specs that the lady there e-mailed me.

 

Yes, there are many members with them. I know of two here locally that have them.
Dubbya has one and DirtySoufmax has one too, his is the red one. They both look really nice as far as there quality and fitment.
Also, they are made to order.Carbon EFX doesnt keep a large supply of premade ones.
Even when they sell the ebay items there made to order.

i ordered mine march 9th.
so almost a full month ago.
Corey said i'd get a phone call after the hood was finished being built to confirm my shipping which is shipped by some special company or something??? im not all too sure. i never got the phone call. go figure.
corey did email me though on march 20th saying that carbon efx would ship my hood "early next week" which would have been the 27th or 28th. i dont know how long shipping should take? but i've been checking my p.o. box and no sign of it....and no reply to my emails that i sent to corey.

 

I got my trunk...finally...still waiting on my hood...I'm going to give him a call tomorrow...give him a call...He's normally there or normally calls back

I spoke with him yesterday and he hasnt heard anything from the company. He knows there in the process because he told me he definetly paid for the hood so it has to be in production

Why did you ship it to a P.O. Box? Is the p.o. able to recieve frieght? If not that may become an issue.

 

Now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure corey said it was okay, cause I remember trying to decide where to ship it to while on the phone. He said something like they had their own shipping company or something, I don't know I didn't really understand what he was saying.

Not yet, Im not sure if Im going to. Id be upset if I had and still hadnt recieved it. You guys have been waiting for a while. Not sure just where Im going to order one at the moment. Id like to get one that actually had rolled edges.
