Please don't get my sig confused with a cf 95-96 front lip. I was only stating that Jose hasn't done a cf front lip for the 95-96 Max yet. He is waiting to sell a couple of regular front lips and bodykits for the 95-96. After the sale of these is when he going to make the cf front lip for the 95-96. I know some of you guys are anxious to get a cf one but trust me these guys are swamped right now. Be a little patient and you will have pics of the cf front lip soon.

Have you sold 5 kits? wondering if the $25 price drop has happened yet. Still sourcing funds, but will most likely be taking a full 95/96 kit off your hands.

SBman182: The shipping will run 92 dlls.

Wil's95SE: Thanks for the support

MIXMAX: I have only sold two full kits on this GD, I've sold lots of individual parts, but few full kits.

cardana24: They are different, you will need to look up a few pics and compare them with my rear valances. My rear valances are lower and stop shorter.

kameron816: You are in San Diego, we can meet up and you can save money on the shipping. Please PM me so we can set something up.

Thanks guys!

Anyone paint there lip/kit themselves? Or know if the shop they painted your lip/kit used flex agent with the paint?

I'm thinking of purchasing this lip and painting myself. I know the poly urothane lips neede flex agent other wise they would crack at any small bump. Curious if this would be the case for Ionics lips? Its not made out of poly uerothane but its flexes like it.

If it does need flex agent then I'll just wait for the CF lip.

Is flex agent needed ionic? Its not like the lip would get bumps but maybe scrapes (thank you D2's)

Good point, I'd like to know as well so that I can tell the shop that will be painting these to use the proper agent if necessary.

just to be safe, but still save a few bucks, maybe just tell them to do the flex on the lip only? the sides and rear shouldn't be too big a deal for gettin bent as often. it's probably better to be safe than sorry with this one. it'll be cheaper in the long run, i think. but just my $.02

hey ionic. i test fitted the kit. i ran into the same problem. the rear seems to not fit. there is a huge gap on the side.the pic everyone have sen is similiar to mine. im try to sand it down to get it to fit flush. front and side fit very well. last is i got a question on the rear. i see that they have a mold screws in the bumper reinforcement brackets. b/c they don't seem to interfere with them. only problem i ran into guys. this is a great buy. gettem while there hot.

MDeezy: It all depends on if you have done this type of work by your self in the past then I would say that it won't be difficult for you to paint these because these are not that big. I would recommend a flex agent for the front, just in case you bump into something your paint will not flake off.

DR-Max: I do recommend using a flex agent on the front lip ONLY, it should not raise the price very much.

orleanzmax: try to get some screws from the underside where the small gap is, the presure will close that gap

Thanks guys!

Yea I've done this type of work before. The lip isnt that big, plus you stated is already primed, so some light sanding with say 2000 grit should have it nice and ready for the paint to adhere. I'll order this lip and paint myself, my front bumper need painting soon so when I get that done, I'll have the lip done at the same time.

I'll PM you ionic with my info to order the lip, would it ship today?

Is the whole kit primered? or does it still have a mold release residue on it?

MIXMAX: Slight residue might be present, please keep in mind that with a spray on primer or a gel coat primer you will still need to do sanding for proper prepping and paint adhesion.

Just beneath the lowest gap in the lower middle of the front bumper, I cut a long thin horizontal strip with an angle grinder. Therefore, I was able to slidt the upper portion of the lip into the slot and screw it down to the inner part of the bumper using a hollow aluminum spacer to fill the gap and also give it a tight fit.

would these rears match up with stillen front and sides? The reason I ask is because I already have the stillen front and sides, I am looking for rears now, and I am having trouble finding them used so now I am considering either buying these new or getting the stillen rears new. Any insight?

Ionicmax,

How much for the entire 96 kit shipped to 46845?

Did you ever find out how the FRP holds up in cold weather?

Thanks.

Thanks for the pics guys

Indymax: My supplier said that flexibility will be reduced because of the cold weather, but that the parts should hold up very well. I also contacted a customer in Canada and asked him how it was holding up and he said that's it's ok. The shipping would only be $92.

MaxxedOut624: Email sent back.

cardana24: I have seen these rear paired up with the stillen sides, but I can't find any pics. This is the best I could do, it's my rear valance paired up with the skyline side skirts that are similar in size as the stillen sides: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/560141

Please let me know if you guys have any more questions.

Jose.

I'm getting a lot of PM's and emails from orgers that need a little more time to gather up the funds for the GD because of spring break, so I am extending the GD for another two weeks

MIXMAX: PM responded to.
