7lbs sounds like it would tear apart at high speeds. I thought most were 15-20lbs.

 

could you post up pics of the exact product you're selling (esp the 4th gen hoods) and also give more details (exact weight, rolled edges or not?, predrilled for washer nozzles?, etc) thanks.

 

Im in the market for a new CF hood, but i definately need to see pics first. Id like to see the edges and underside, also a close up of the latch.

Thats not for a 4th gen though.
Its going to be hard to sell a product that no one has seen, especially the hood for the 4th gen because I dont know anyone that has a VIS 4th gen hood yet.
Im not saying Im not interested because I am, but I need to see a good pic of the edges, underside and latch.

They're not really negative comments... You changed the price, and they just want answers to thier questions, and some pics. Is that too much to ask for? You've blown off the questions and pic request repeatedly. Not trying to start a fight here, because we certainly appreciate the group deal, but we don't appreciate getting the runaround.

 

Any more CF hood for my 2k1 max available ?

 

For those of you that don't know but there's a major shortage of CF--all b/c the military is taking it all to put into planes. This is right from the folks over at VIS and more than several vendors that sell their products. Vis can't even tell me when they plan on getting more invader hoods in for my max. But what they are doing is making the hoods with a wider weave--you can see pics on ebay. That's why prices are climbing--it's almost as bad as gas prices. Me, I'm pissed, b/c I could have picked up the hood like 6mo ago but I put it off...now I can't find it anywhere and it's the last piece I need before I put the car in for full remodeling and paint. Procrastination is def. the devil!!! Anyway, you can spend your money but there is no ETA. I was abt to do it myself, but one guy told me since he couldn't give me a time frame, it was best to hold off. But then again, how long do you wait? Prices may climb even higher. Food for thought.
