hmm well that's good to know...probably explains the big difference in price between the 4th and 5th gen hoods..

 

It's unfair to compare us to Ebay because those companies will buy in bulk of 50 or so. We on the other hand can't do that, just too much of one product...

 

well....$501 something for VIS invader hood without shipping is way too high....I was probably first one to have that hood and I paid $515 shipped and I didn't get it from ebay either....I'm not here to flame ur GB but thas just too high....I was gonna giv it away to whoever wants em but nobody want them....I ended throwing away.....btw u can goto my cardomain page and use my Max for invadery style hood.....

I just sent an e-mail to VIS Racing asking if they did or still currently do make a CF hood for our 4th gens so we'll find out shortly..

Jeez, I can understand peoples frustrations with the prices but its been stated about 5-10 times that people can find it cheaper else where. Maybe some of you are hoping he can drop the price or maybe some just want to express your shock for the prices.

But those who feel the price is too high, then just dont post and let this GB be for buying people. Makes no sense to make a post that just states your opinion on the price. Not trying to flame anyone but let the man try to sell his hoods.

I'd would say the hoods weight about 7 lbs. or so.

sure, u can come and pick it up, that's wat we are tryin to do right now for the local people are CT. So shipping for locals would be $75 and $150 for the people farther away.

i highly doubt its 7 lbs. mine is a POS and weighs 17 lbs.
