To the rest on the list: help Larry out and try and track down your own cores. Bother people in the classifieds and/or look in the local junkyards. That's what I did, and voila, I don't need to wait any longer! The modified bushing is awesome....it's worth the extra effort, trust me!

I won't be at the junkyard for about a month, but I will see what they have. I know they have about four 4th gens, but not sure how many are manuals. I know for sure that one is so I will let you know. Either way, I will have at least one core for you in the middle of May.

 

Larrio, Natty sent the bushing out to you already. At the same time, I actually found another shifter bushing my friend had laying around. Anyone want it, i'll ship it to Larrio for a small fee for ya. .

Got mine in the mail a few days back and just installed it... feels great, gear selection is much more precise.

If someone doesn't feel like waiting and wants my core, just shoot me a PM.

Maximus__95: maxboost paid, everything is peachy smooth. His portion was included in my last payment to my partner back in April/May. Thought I should clear up his name and reputation

I think the cores that weren't returned since last year are as good as gone. New orders only exist if you can send me a core, waiting on two payments right now before the cores come in.

 

You should have charged an obscene core charge price.... That way they'd make sure to send it back.... $70 core charge!

 

Larry's too nice a guy to do that.

 

I didn't start charging core prices until it became a problem. But by then it was too late and I lost track of the cores coming and going. Then profits drop a lot when I have to purchase brand new ones from Nissan to exchange for old cores that don't come back.

So now just consider it a service to the 5spd community.

 

Bump, since my TET poly shifter bushing disintegrated after 2 years of use. If I send you my stock one can I get a poly one in return?
