I'm practically bugging my rep at Nissan but they are still on back order and I haven't got any cores back in about 3 months.

 

(I owe one to phaedrus or zshopa for one being lost in the mail, I can't recall until I check my records)

I went here originally because my shifter felt really sloppy and horrible and blackwind said to try this first - thought my tranny was falling apart (I go through them fast due to the 359hp). Turns out the bushing had just slid back a little....decided to get this done while I was under there anyway.

Got my polyeurethaned shifter bushing in today....(I sent Larrio in my original last Monday)

Looks like this:

Installation only took about 20 minutes to get everything all back together and the car off the jack stands.

All I have to say is WOW! - If you have a 5spd this may be the best $58 you can spend on feel/performance.

Shifter is REALLY tight and yet fluid and just feels amazing!

Nice to know my tranny isn't falling apart....yet.

natty99...i had a used one but i gave it to my buddy to finish the 5spd swap. i prefer getting it new since all of the used ones have lots of rust on that metal part =]. i have to stop by a nissan dealer anyway to buy couple things =/
