What kit would work for an 05 Maxima??

 

The red kit will but the other colors will mix with the stock needle color and it won't come out the color it is supposed to.

 

correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you sand down the red stock needles to come out clear? That way any color kit would work fine? I remember reading this somewhere. do I even make sense lol, anyway I'll get back to you on this, pics would help

 

You normally can but with the ones on the newer maximas they are tinted all the way through and it won't come clear.

 

I know these come with install instructions, but any chance you could give us a little idea on how they are put together, and how long the job takes? I have a 99 max, So I guess Hyper red is the only one I can get which is good cause I wanted red.

Basically you will take the gauges and needles out and install the rings, the kit comes with dimmer control and wiring.

How about for a 2000 Nissan Maxima GXE!?

I don't care about white or titanium gauge faces or whatnot, but why are the stock needles and gauges so freakin dimm?? Right now my airbag light is on and that's all I see That's bright, why not the rest of it??
