i just read this thread and you keep telling people that they cant get any color besides the red but you are mistaken!!!! HEHE. All you guys need to do is take some very fine grit sandpaper and sand behind the needle and the red will come off. But you are to do this at your own risk. When i did it i broke one of my needles and had to buy a new cluster. But it is a old trick that us older forum guys used to put hyper blue and red and green led's etc. in our clusters..... "theres a how to"
Cool, let me know how these get installed. Is it a matter of putting an led behind the needle similar like the led needle mod? That's what I have now but I have analog gauges in my 97 and is tough to get an LED in the proper position in the Speedo head. Mines just lays in the limited space there with no way to really secure the LED so it doesn't really light the needle. For those with analog gauges you know what I mean.

here are is a pic, disregard the alligator skin gauges(te-heh). I was lied to when I bought them. I was told they were plastic pieces NOT stickers. To my surprise they were stickers.
WTF. also the pic makes it look like they are really "hot" I will assure you they arent

Do you have the remove the needles to install these? Im assuming not.
when i installed mine i had to remove the needles, and the gauge faces themselves. once removed i took a step drill bit and opened the holes a little bit more. I ran the wires to the center of the cluster where there is an opening for what looks like a gear indicator. I then notched the backtrim of the cluster so that the wires could easily go pass through without being crimped. I attached the wires to one of the gauge bulbs, so that they are controlled by the dimmer.

Didn't see this post earlier, I was hoping you wouldnt have to remove the needles they seem like a pain the @ss the remove. I tried to remove mine a while back and broke one of the needles luckily I was able to sand off the orange with the needle in place. So you're not happy with the brightness of them?
no, these are LED rings that go underneath the needle
Yes
removing the needles was easy just take your time, be patient. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE BRIGHTNESS OF THEM!! What I meant was they arent as bright/HOT as they look in pic. You can also adjust the brightness with an included adjustment **** that is attached to the power wire. They look really good. Everyone give me compliments on my gauges
