I saw on ebay a 4 channel Kicker amp for around 250. Its 120x4. Did anyone here anything bad about their amps? looks like a very decent amp for the money with a good amount of power.

hey i'd like to know which of rainbow's speaker line is of the highest quality. how does the slc line stand in comparison to some of the others? and i want to buy a three way component set up, but i need to just ask you for some more info before i send my money. you told me the SLC 365 is $320, how much for the SLC 365 Kick? Please get back to me asap, i've pm'd you a few times with no response, i really want these speakers!!! also, what coaxials would be best for a 4th gen maxima? thanks for your help, -J

The highest quality would be the Reference, not trying to judge you, but I would guess it to be out of your league. The SLCs are the more affordable, yet still high end set.

During this GD, the SLC365 is $300 and the kick version $359

either the KX165 or the SL165

ooh.. the reference series sounds a bit hefty for the wallet lol.. does the "kick" in the kick version justify spending the extra $59? or would you reccomend just the regular slc365? can you also price me for the SL165 coaxials? i will be ordering this week (-how are you accepting payment? paypal?) thanks again! -Jay

[just out of PURE curiousity... how much do the reference CS 360.30 or the profi CS 365 cost?]

Yes the References are quite up there.

Most people are content with the standard version.

The SL165s are $120.

Thanks!

Yes

That would depend on your skills. It is not difficult for the average person with little knowledge with cars.

Itll be fine and quite a good match up.

The KX165s will run fairly well off the HU power.

So, I bought these during the first group buy, and installed them shortly afterwards into my 06. They sound absolutely amazing, and like Pearl mentioned in the first post, you'll be hardpressed to find another set for this price that sounds this damn good.

If you guys haven't jumped on this deal, I would highly recommend that you do so. You won't regret it. Great product, great seller.

Theyre oval, whens the last time you visited a concert, theatre, studio, etc that had oval speakers? Its not optimal for music reproduction. Not to mention you would have to destroy your rear deck to do so AND they cost more than the 6.5s

:-/ i see.. point taken. only reason i inquiried is because my installer can fit them in and said it wouldn't be a problem. well screw that idea, i'll send you the $420 for the slc 365 and the sl 165 ($300+$120) in a few minutes to your paypal address (MyPearlTPI@aol.com). thanks for all of your assistance.

Don,
What would you recommend for the rears? I know that the SLC265 would be good for the front, but don't know what to get for the rears. I would like a little bit of a bass, nothing crazy. Thanks

Are these silk or titanium dome tweeters? How do they sound on stock amplification? And where do the crossovers go on stock wiring? Is it in the doors or by the amp?

Thanks

Either the KXs or the SLs will work fine, all dependant on the power your using for em.

They are silk/fabric

Not recommended for any component sets.
