They come in several sizes to fit various CAI systems. Please take a look at the attached and let me know which one you believe would work for you. Recommend you first narrow it down by flange size (3", 3.5" etc) and go from there...that will narrow the field considerably. If you currently have another filter on there, we might be able to cross reference it... Let me know and I'll send you the discounted pricing on it. Thx

AMSOIL has announced another line of synthetic motor oils to be marketed as AMSOIL "OE" synthetic oil. OE is formulated to perform for the full length of the vehicle manufacturers suggested oil drain interval. OE oil will take the place of the previous XL oil, which was recently reformulated for higher performance (API SN, ILSAC GF-5) and longer service life (up to 10,000 miles/6-months). AMSOIL OE is designed to compete directly with other, commonly available shelf synthetic oils in terms of price, service life and other factors. AMSOIL OE will be a great product for the individual who wants to use a high-quality, reasonably priced synthetic oil but remain within the OEM's service recommendation.

AMSOIL will continue to offer their ultra-premium lubricants which are formulated for the highest performance and longest service life in the industry.

I will post more information about OE oil when it becomes available.

I will post more information about OE oil when it becomes available.
AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oil is now available for purchase and it is priced competitively with commercial-on-the-shelf products available from other lubricant manufacturers. AMSOIL OE synthetic motor oil helps provide better wear control, high- and low-temperature protection and increased fuel economy compared to conventional oils. The oil drain interval recommendations for many of today’s vehicles extend well beyond the traditional 3,000-mile interval, some up to 12,000 miles with electronic oil monitoring systems. AMSOIL OE Oils provide excellent protection and performance for the entire length of the original equipment manufacturer’s recommended drain interval.

Formulated with friction modifiers, AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils are fuel-efficient oils that reduce friction-related energy loss. They provide better fuel economy compared to conventional, non-fuel-efficient motor oils.

AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils are friendly toward modern emissions control systems, promoting proper operation of catalytic converters for optimum service life and low exhaust emissions.

AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils are multi-viscosity formulations. They resist the effects of thermal breakdown, including evaporation and viscosity loss, while remaining fluid in cold temperatures for easier cold starts and fast start-up circulation.

Fortified with high levels of detergent and dispersant additives, AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils are engineered to resist sludge and carbon deposits better than conventional oils. They promote clean operation for longer-lasting, better-running engines.

AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils are excellent for use in all types of gasoline-fueled vehicles. They are recommended for all domestic and foreign vehicles requiring any of the listed performance specifications:

5W-30 (OEF)

API SN, SM...
ILSAC GF-5, GF-4...
Ford WSS-M2C929-A
Chrysler MS-6395N
GM dexos1TM (supersedes LL-A-025, 6094M and 4718M)

This oil, packaged with a high-performing Wix oil filter, is an excellent, cost effective choice for the individual who wants to step up to a high performance synthetic lubricant and continue with more traditional drain intervals.

Please send me a PM for pricing.

AMSOIL Manual Transmission and Transaxle Gear Oil (MTG) is a 75w-90 GL-4 lubricant. This oil is specially formulated for manual transmissions/transaxles requiring a GL-4 gear lube and it works great. I sell a lot of it to our members and the feedback is outstanding. Sent you a PM with the cost and ordering information. Please let me know if I can help. Thx

I have a transmission oil leak and I was told that they need to open up and flush everything out and refill transmission fluid and put a new sealant. I do not know much about this process. Can you get back to me with pricing options and different variety of transmission fluids that are available? This is for a 2003 Maxima SE. Thanks.

I can help either way, but do you have a manual transmission or automatic? I have a synthetic manual trans gear oil that is specifically formulated for GL-4 applications, and the synthetic ATF I have meets Nissan-matic D, J and K specs. I sell a lot of both products to our members. Here's links to tech data bulletins:

Manual trans gear oil: http://www.amsoil.com/lit/databulletins/g2077.pdf
Synthetic ATF: http://www.amsoil.com/lit/databulletins/g173.pdf

Total capacity for the manual transmission is ~2.5 quarts...my application guide is showing total fill for the automatic as being 9 quarts.

Please confirm the transmission type and your state of residence and/or zip code, so I can accurately account for shipping and tax. Thx

Its a 2003 Maxima SE Automatic. I'm in Buffalo, NY.

Do you know what other parts I might need when I have the transmission flushed and refilled? like filters? or any other parts?

Also, manual calls for transmission fluid change every 30,000 miles. With Synthetic, how safe is it to extend the period to 60,000 miles?

Give me price quotes for Synthetic and non-Synthetic. Thanks!

Sent you a PM with the cost and ordering information.

Nissan typically uses a screen for a transmission filter...not a normal replacement item, but if your transmission is torn down it might be a good opportunity to change it. I don't have them available so you'd have to get one locally.

Concerning service life of the fluid, AMSOIL ATF has a service life up to 50,000 miles in severe service or 100,000 miles in normal service. Once changed, I recommend you do a simple drain and refill every couple-three years, depending on your mileage, and that will keep your transmission running very happily for years to come.

AMSOIL only offers synthetic lubricants...

Pls let me know if I can help. thx

Need gear oil for your manual transmission? AMSOIL synthetic 75w-90 Manual Transmission and Transaxle Oil is specifically formulated for applications such as Nissan manual transmissions where a GL-4 gear oil is specified. Don't use commercial off the shelf products that are formulated for GL-4/GL-5 applications...these products contain too much EP additive that can cause hard shifting and be detrimental to soft metals contained in manual transmissions. Send me a PM for club pricing on this and other quality AMSOIL products.

AMSOIL has just reintroduced the Ea Oil filter for Nissan, Toyota and Honda applications. The same great filter as before but now with a maximum 15K/1 year service interval.

In designing a quality oil filter, engineers must balance a number of factors including efficiency, flow rates, capacity and longevity/durability.

AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters feature advanced full-synthetic nanofiber technology and rank among the most efficient filters available for the auto/light-truck market. Ea Oil Filters provide a filtering efficiency in accordance with industry standard ISO 4548-12 of 98.7 percent at 15 microns, and are significantly more efficient than competing filters in trapping smaller-sized particles/contaminants.

While AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters are highly efficient, they have significantly lower restriction than conventional cellulose media filters. Their small synthetic nanofibers trap smaller particles and hold more contaminants, resulting in lower restriction. During cold-temperature warm-up periods, an Ea Oil Filter allows the oil to flow through the filter more easily than a typical cellulose filter does. More oil going thru the filter element and not by-passed decreases engine wear.

AMSOIL Ea oil filters also provide tremendous capacity. A filter’s capacity refers to the amount of contaminants it can hold and still remain effective. AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters have a greater capacity for small, wear-causing contaminants than competing filter lines do.

AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters are made with premium-grade full-synthetic media. The strictly controlled processing of this media ensures accurate filter construction, and is what allows Ea Oil Filters to deliver higher capacity and efficiency along with better durability. Over the service life of a conventional cellulose filter, hot oil will degrade the resins that bind the media, thus shortening the service life of the filter. Ea Oil Filters’ full-synthetic media technology is resin-free. It uses a wire screen backing that is pleated with the media for superior strength and longevity.

Ea Oil Filters are constructed with HNBR gaskets that are fully tested to extreme distances in numerous severe environments. The filters also feature fully tucked seams, a molded element seal, roll-formed threads and a long-lasting premium-grade silicone anti-drain valve.

Competitively priced with other premium filters. Pls send PM for pricing information
