Sent you a PM with pricing for the manual trans gear oil, EaA and Wix Cabin Filter.

Concerning the Saab, the only air filter I can get for it would be a Mann filter. The cabin filter is not available through AMSOIL.

Pls let me know if I can help. Thx

AMSOIL introduces Z-ROD™ Synthetic Motor Oil, a premium lubricant with a high zinc, high phosphorous content. This oil is specially engineered for classic and high-performance vehicles. It features a high-zinc formulation to prevent wear on flat-tappet camshafts and other critical engine components, along with a proprietary blend of rust and corrosion inhibitors for added protection during long-term storage.

Protects Flat-Tappet Cams
The lifters and cam lobes on flat-tappet camshafts common to classic and high performance vehicles slide rapidly against one another, producing high friction and heat. The friction between the two components can eventually wear down the cam and affect valve operation, ultimately resulting in lost engine power and reduced efficiency. In addition, these areas are splash-lubricated rather than pressure lubricated like other areas of the engine, which adds extra strain on anti-wear additives like the zinc and phosphorus in zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDDP).

AMSOIL Z-ROD Synthetic Motor Oil is formulated with high levels of ZDDP to protect flat-tappet cams, lifters, rockers and other areas susceptible to wear. Its high-zinc, high-phosphorus formulation provides the extra wear protection these critical splash-lubricated components require.

Provides Long-Term Protection from Rust & Corrosion
AMSOIL Z-ROD Synthetic Motor Oil is formulated with a unique blend of rust and corrosion inhibitors to ensure maximum protection during long-term storage. To prove its effectiveness, AMSOIL submitted Z-ROD Synthetic Motor Oil to the Standard Test Method for Rust Protection in the Humidity Cabinet (ASTM D-1748). This test evaluates the rust-preventative properties of oil under high-humidity conditions, similar to those faced by a covered hot rod in a damp garage. The metal coupon treated with AMSOIL Z-ROD Synthetic Motor Oil showed no signs of oxidation after 192 hours, while the coupon treated with a leading competitor’s product failed the test after 24 hours.

APPLICATIONS
AMSOIL Z-ROD Synthetic Motor Oil is recommended for older or modified engines requiring either 10W-30 or 20W-50 motor oil. Z-ROD Synthetic Motor Oil meets API SL and earlier specifications, allowing for increased levels of anti-wear additives. ZDDP levels in Z-ROD Synthetic Motor Oil exceed the limits of API SM and newer specifications.

COMPATIBILITY
AMSOIL Z-ROD Synthetic Motor Oils are compatible with conventional and other synthetic motor oils. Mixing AMSOIL Z-ROD Synthetic Motor Oils with other oils, however, will shorten the oil’s life expectancy and reduce the performance benefits. Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL Z-ROD Synthetic Motor Oils.

SERVICE LIFE
Because engines in classic cars, hot rods and other performance vehicles are generally modified, a universal oil drain interval recommendation for these applications cannot be given. Responsibility for determining the drain interval duration rests with the owner. As a general service guideline, the maximum drain interval for Z-ROD Synthetic Motor Oil should not exceed 5,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first. In heavily modified engines (e.g. forced induction, nitrous) the maximum drain interval should not exceed 3,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.

Please send PM or e-mail for pricing. Pls include zip code or state of residence so I can determine applicable taxes and shipping rates. Thx

How long do you intend to leave the oil in service? Change oil per OEM's recommendations, run it for a full 7500 miles or more; or extend the intervals out beyond 10K? Reason I ask is because AMSOIL offers 3 families of passenger car engine oils, each formulated (and priced) for the the length of service the user is most comfortable with. Also, pls send your zip code or state of residence so I can determine correct sales tax and shipping amounts.

Thx

AMSOIL Expands the Signature Series Line.

AMSOIL 0W-20 (ASM), 5W-30 (ASL) and 10W-30 (ATM) Synthetic Motor Oils join AMSOIL Signature Series 0W-30 to round out the new Signature Series line. Signature Series 0W-30 is now identified by product code AZO. Product code SSO will be discontinued and is only available while supplies last.

In addition to being reformulated to meet the latest API SN Resource Conserving and ILSAC GF-5 industry specifications, the new Signature Series line features all-new packaging and represents the very best motor oils AMSOIL has to offer, allowing motorists to take advantage of maximum extended drain intervals. In the interest of consistency and clarity within the Signature Series line, all four motor oils are recommended for drain intervals of up to 25,000 miles/one year, whichever comes first (15,000 miles/one year in severe service conditions).

The new Signature Series line is replacing the previous formulations of the AMSOIL top-tier oils as inventories dictate; orders will be filled with the older formulations and packaging until inventory is depleted, which may occur at varying times for each viscosity.

Pls send PM for current pricing.

Here's a link to some good informational video's on AMSOIL lubricants being used in various applications: http://www.amsoil.com/video/AMSOIL_I...es_Videos.aspx

There's also a good video on synthetic oil basics and it explains what differentiates AMSOIL products from those offered by other lubricant manufacturers.

Pls send me a PM or e-mail for additional information, questions and/or a personalized quote. No order too big, no order too small.

5w-20 has just added to the Signature Series line-up! So now AMSOIL's top-tier motor oil comes in 0w-20, 5w-20, 0w-30, 5w-30 and 10w-30. All five of these motor oils are recommended for drain intervals of up to 25,000 miles/one year, whichever comes first (15,000 miles/one year in severe service conditions).

As many of you know, AMSOIL recently reformulated the XL line and it is now recommended for up to 10,000 miles or 6-months of use (or longer if specified by the OEM or on vehicles with oil life monitoring systems)

AMSOIL "Original Equipment" (OE) engine oil was recently introduced and it is recommended to be changed in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations. OE is designed for the person who wants to upgrade to a premium synthetic oil, but who is not quite ready to step up to AMSOIL's more premium, long drain oils. AMSOIL OE offers both performance and incredible value.

AMSOIL also makes premium oils, transmission fluids, gear lubricants and fuel additives for most applications: Diesel oils, power sports, motorcycles, two cycle, boats, scooters, etc. Full line of AMSOIL, WIX, Mann and Donaldson filters (oil, air, fuel, cabin, transmission, etc) available for most all applications. NGK plugs, Trico wiper blades, Mothers car care products available too.

Pls send PM for more information and price quote.

PM's sent to dnice02, 5KyL1N3 and vw3819 with the cost and ordering information. This is a fantastic product...I sell a bunch of it to our members and the feedback is outstanding.

Vw-you asked how long to fill the order. Once I receive payment, I will process the order (get it into AMSOIL's system) immediately. I have all products shipped directly to the customer from the nearest AMSOIL Product Center. This assures you of the freshest products, widest selection, prompt delivery and it essentially cuts shipping costs in half. I'm not pushing old stock like some dealers do. Dnice02, your oil will be shipped from the AMSOIL Product Center in Orlando, and 5KyL1N3 and vw3819 your oil will be shipped from the AMSOIL Product Center in Wichita. Service is very good...I can't guarantee it, but orders usually go out the same day I process them and UPS delivery to most locations is usually within a couple business days...

Pls let me know if I can help. Thanks

Ed,

Can you get me a cartridge of GLC? I need to replace a wheel bearing and I figure I might as well repack the bearing I bought with good grease. ZIP is 15071. According to the Amsoil site, the product code is GLCCR-EA.

Thanks,

Tony
