I'm pretty sure all that is true, I would have asked customers about their cars when they called to order the shifter. I don't think Nissan stopped using the longer ones on a particular day and used the short ones thereafter, there seems to be some mixing, and so I would not assume that an 04 or 05 Maxima is one way or another. Best way seems to be to go with the color, the long one appears to have a zinc-chromate finish (golden) and the short ones appear to be grey.

Anyway, the short-shift mechanism that's on sale is meant for the longer variety.

Hey Brian,

Could you PM me the price of the F&R control arm bushings and the sub frame bushings shipped to 95831? Also did you have a shop do the control arm bushings? If so, how long did it take for the shop to do that? Cause I can't be without a car. Also could you please PM me with your paypal if I decide to buy the products.

Thanks,
Lawrence

What performance advantages will I see with the following, I already have a C.E. FSTB and a Stillen RSB on my GLE:

Energy Suspension front control arm bushing set for 00-03 Maxima and 00-04 I30/I35; reg. $80, SALE PRICE $49
- Energy Suspension rear control arm bushing set for 00-03 Maxima and 00-04 I30/I35; reg. $98, SALE PRICE $69
- Energy Suspension 22mm front sway bar frame bushing set for 00-03 Maxima GXE/GLE (NOT SE) and 00-04 I30/I35; reg. $40, SALE PRICE $22
- Energy Suspension lower front subframe bushing set for 95-03 Maxima and 95-04 I30/I35; reg. $33, SALE PRICE $22

Are the front and rear bushing sets made of a harder material than stock? Do they have a zerk fitting or no lubing?
Same for the FSB bushings?
Thanks, Robert

The effect of the bushings is to remove most of the play or looseness in the suspension, that results from soft and/or worn out stock bushings. All of the Energy Suspension bushings are made from polyurethane, a material that is stiffer and more durable over time than the stock rubber bushings. The bushings themselves do not have grease fittings, but some of the kits include lubricant when appropriate.

Its a dark blue SE 5-speed and the asking price is $15500. People sort of laugh when I tell them its never been abused - they assume that we give our cars a pretty good workout, but that's not the case anymore.

This is the first car I purchased after totalling out my '03 G35 in a near-fatal head-on collision, and that experience completely changed my driving patterns. I don't think the car's ever been driven over 85-90mph, its never been raced, and it has less than 10 dyno runs in its lifetime. Its actually the truth, its a low-mileage creampuff. [I'll hedge that "creampuff" label by saying that I wish the paint was in nicer condition, but that's just the nature of Nissan paint.]

Sorry I didn't see this right away. I guess the only relevant info about them now is that they're sold.

At the sale price (haven't put up a new weekly sale, but will honor the old one until I do), the total cost including shipping to you would be $579.38. Give us a call, we can ship this out right away.

Got the PR CAI in the car last night. That thing was a real PITA to install with the differences of the VQ35 & the PF TB but I got it in there. Thanks again Brian!

I'm impressed! As we discussed, that was sure to be a tricky installation.

An RSB at the prior sale price + shipping would add up to $127.41. Yes, we have b-pipes in stock for your car, though they aren't on sale. The price is $299 + $29.76 shipping.

It looks like we'll start shipping the new production to backorders in about 10-14 days. Production will be fairly rapid, but I'm not sure when we'll catch up with demand. The only way to put a lock on a part is to place an order (no casual waiting lists), but we won't charge the credit card until your part's made and on its way.

I'll start a new thread on this when we start shipping.

We have a few of the FSTB fame bushing sets in stock, for both the SE and GLE, but to my knowledge there are no FSTB endlink bushings for the 00-03 Maxima.

We'll resume the "Cattman Weekly Sales" next week, and of course our annual December Cattman Exhaust Sale will kick off sometime next Friday (or earlier) so look for that too.

I had my catback installed a couple of days ago and I must say its the best sounding catback i've heard. It's very well put together! It even fit better than my stock system lol!!! The muffler shop that installed it was very impressed with the way it was put together. Best of all it looks nice and subtle its not too aftermarket looking but it's not too stock looking!!! I'm getting compliments on this thing everywhere I go. Thanks again Brian for the great customer service and great product!!!

And thank you for taking the time to write such a positive testimonial, much appreciated! The product and service you describe is exactly what we're trying to provide, so when it matches customer impressions, we've been successful.

BTW, you'll like it even better after you've been driving it for another week or so. The very thin layer of carbon that forms on the inside surfaces "softens" the acoustic reflectivity a bit, and the tone changes (and improves) slightly. Its subtle, but you'll probably hear what I mean.
