More people consider a 12000k to be a violet, which is just a lighter purple. As for the output of our Custom Colors; they are actually 4300k bulbs with the gases inside altered to produce the custom color.

Hey Operatic, i bought 2 sets of HIDs a while back (about 1 month ago) for a friend, but finally got it installed this past weekend, I noticed that the 9006 fogs weren't the custom color that I had ordered but just the 3000k ones. I checked the Paypal and I did order the custom color bulbs. Can you help me out on correcting this problem? thanks! I'll be ordering another set today actually so don't get the two confused. PM me for any info that you may need. thanks!!

GREAT kits though, headlights were freakin bright. I LOVE THEM!!! thanks again.

General question:

If I put these in the stock headlights to replace the low beam (9006), how is the glare and light pattern?

We don't stock 7000k. If you wanted 6000k or 8000k, we can make that happen for you. Also, for just bulbs, it is $60 shipped for a pair.

There would be glare, some headlamps accept HIDs better than others. As for the light partner, it will be scattered.

Our ballast do not require the use of a seperate power and ground. It is our wiring harness that does that. Instead of drawing power from your factory electircal system, it draws it directly from the battary, the only thing your factory connection does is act as a gate to turn on your HIDs.

For a pair of slim ballast, it is $110 and for the D2S / D2R converter cables (which would allow you to use our ballast form our kit. The price is $20 shipped for a pair of connectors.

i think i worded my question wrong.

as far as i know there are generally 2 types of harnesses for HID kits.

1st type- there are male spades that go into the car's headlight harness and it draws power, signal and ground wire from there. So in order for you to hook up this kit all you need to do is hook up bulb to harness of the ballast and then the headlight harness to the other harness of the ballast.

2nd type- same as the first but the ballast also has a relay and then requires you to run the power and ground off the ballast harness.

The picture you have of the kit in one of your earlier posts shows you have the 2nd type. I'm just confirming your kits are the same.

i think the best way to answer this is to take out a kit and lay out the entire harness and show me a picture.

If you look at this forum and others you can see that people have had our kits for a long time without problem. Also, the brand is car light international illumination.
