HID Plug and Play Kits $160 SHIPPED Head Lights, Fog Lights!
I have never done an install on a 2008 Maxima, so I am unsure of how difficult it is. But for any car, putting HIDs in does not require the removal of the front bumper. The only time you really need to do that is if you want a clean install. Also your 2008 Nissan Maxima uses 9005 for the low beam.
Now if I order just the low beam kit will my high beams work at all?
installation on the 08 will require the removal of the front bumper and some cutting of the factory wires to reach the wiring provided with the kit. It took me a little less than an hour to install these in my garage. I also had to drill a one inch hole in the plastic cap that goes on the back of the headlamp housing to run the HID lamp wires through. It really is an easy task if you know what you are doing.
The 08 uses a single 9005 bulb on each side for both the hi/lo beam. When you switch to the hi beam, a deflector shield inside the lamp housing moves out of the way for a higher beam pattern. So Yes, it will work.
For a pair of D1S bulbs it is $130 shipped. They are expensive because the igniter is built into the bulb.

Bump for a good couple guys to deal with and nice quality products. Got a 3000K H3 kit, extremely satisfied. Shipped overnight as promised AND credited me back $10 b/c the price of the kit was cheaper than originally thought.
I need a kit for my 2002 Maxima GLE... since i'm an illiterate when it comes to cars most of the time, I just know I want a kit so that i have both headlamps and parking/fog lights as well. what should I order?
I think I should pm, forgot about that...

Install is not that hard but if you have not worked on cars/electrical much I don't know if you should tackle it.
Your 2002 Maxima uses D2R for the low beam and H3c for the fogs. If you want them all to match, you can order our 6000k kits for both your low and fogs and we also offer T10 bulbs that would help match in color that goes in your parking light, front and rear side markers, license plate, and the courtesy light (that little light on the inside of front doors that turn on when you open the door.)
to operatic or anybody smarter than me:
My 2K2 Max already has HID headlights I unerstand that, so the kit would be installed using the low beams correct? so it means in simple terms everytime I turn my car on the low beams which now have the kit on will be on all day, no more need to turn the actual headlights on?

The stock maxima HIDs are almost pure white (4300k). If you wanted a bluish tint to the light you could get bulbs with a higher temperature rating to replace the stock bulbs. You could also get a fog kit with the same bulbs so they match.
You would need the 4300k fog light kit to match the factory headlights or The fog light kit + D2R bulbs (to replace the factory bulbs) in whatever temperature you wanted.

If you want them to match as best as possible like in the thread you sent me through PM, then it is usually best to get both the low beams and the fog lights in the same kevlin color. So yes, a pair of D2R bulbs and H3c kit both in 6000k would ensure that they match.
I have to say that operatic was really nice resolving the issue that I had that the 50W kit was 1000K lower in colour than I originally expected, so it did not match the stock HIDs really well, it had a yellow look.
Operatic sent me a pair of replacement 6000K bulbs for free to fix this issue, that's really nice. I installed them today and they are great.
The 50w HID H3 fogs put out so much light that's insane.
Thanks operatic for taking care of this issue. I will do business again w you. I cant wait for my stock D2S to go so I can have a reason to get 6000K bulbs in my main projector eh eh eh.

Enjoy the HIDs partner!Yes we do. We just need to know if you used an adapter harness with the Cefiro headlights or if you cut them off to put on the new plug.
If you have a 2002-2003 you only need upgraded bubls, which are D2R
I have a 1998 infiniti i30t with cefiro headlights Hid ready. Not bi xenon though...
