The one with the most usable light is a 4300k. If you go with the 50w ballast and 5000k bulb it will be as bright as we can make it while still being white. Also, here is a quick run down of colors for ya.
4300k

5000k

6000k

8000k

10000k

I know that this thread is old but I seriously need HIDs in my car. The halogens are soooo dull. Now I'm new to all this and I am a little confused. I have the cornering lights and i want HIDs in those as well as the headlights (if that is possible). I want 6000k bulbs. Now what is this bi-xenon? I would really appreciate your help guys. Thanks so much.

HIDs mainly go in the headlights and not so much the corner lights. If you want, we have LEDs for the corner lights.

Also bi-xenons are for cars where the high and low beams are on the same bulb and the buyer wishes to have a xenon high and low. I sent you a pm also!

8000k is a little more blueish but it reduces the overall light output

Not true. There is very little light output difference between 4300k and all the way up to 12000k.

Your car uses an H3c bulb. To best match the headlights to the foglights, you should get the 6000k kit.

Hey operatif, if I want D2S bulbs to replace my stock bulbs, and I want them to match the 50w 6000K kit that I bought from you, should I get 6000Kd2s or 5000K??

Will the 6000K D2S 35w be alot more blue than the 50W 6000K H3?

You should get the D2S 5000k to best match it. Also the D2S 6000k would be bluer than the 6000k H3s with 50w ballast.

Only ballast determine wattage and a shift in color the higher the wattage is. Bulbs determine the color (kevlin.)

So any of our D2S bulbs would work fine with your OEM ballast as it would just be the same as factory replacement unless you get a higher kevlin rating. But again bulbs do not determine the wattage.

For just HID bulbs it is $60 shipped for a pair. But for a whole HID Kit for your headlights it is $130 shipped. And if you want the fog lights also, it is another $130, so its $260 all together. Also it comes with everything you need to get it up and running.

Do you have factory HIDs or the factory halogen bulbs.
Factory HIDs use D2S
Factory Halogen bulbs use 9006

Just need to know which one you got partner

hey parttner whats up?? as you probably know i have HID's on heads and fogs and still turning heads with my color combo..hehehe..anyway my i30 has corner light and whenever i put my signal and then it turns off all my headlights and fogs lights turn off and turn back on immediatly.. i know that it is not good for HID bulbs to turn on and off immediatly. so what do you think is the cause of this lil problem? if its bcus of the corner lights i am willing to take those bulbs off as they reallt doesnt seems to help me see at night. thanx
