Yes you are correct, it uses a 9005 for the low beam and an H11 for the fog lights.
The difference between 35w and 50w is light output. below is a picture to show you the difference between 35w and 50w

Also if you ordered the 2 sets in 4300k-12000k with 35w ballast it would be $260 shipped partner.

For a 2001 Maxima you use an H4 kit.

They use an H3c bulb and we can only get them in 6000k and 8000k.

If you want you can modify your fog light housing to accept an H3 HID bulb. What you would need to do is stick a screwdriver into the back of the housing and push the metal cut off plate forward a bit. We can get H3's in 4300k-12000k and custom colors.

How about just 2 H3c bulbs in 6000k? Unnitza or whatever said they couldn't get H3c in HID at all, and that's who I got my kits from. Not to mention they sent me the wrong bulbs...

Man that is a hard choice, I flip flop between to two, on one car 6000k looks perfect on others 8000k is just right. Either way though you'll be satisfied

If you want just 2 H3c bulbs, it would be $50 shipped for the pair. We have them in stock so if you ordered tonight they would go out tomorrow afternoon and you would see them come Friday afternoon partner

Just had mine installed today, although I received them 2 weeks ago......Very fast shipping........Took awhile to install only because the bumper had to be removed and whatnot but they look great. I got the 6000k 50 watts for my headlights and 6000k 50 watts fogs. Question, are there any way to aim these or once theyre in theyre in?

There are adjustment screws on the headlamps that allow you to move the headlamp aiming up and down.

Just trying to get some info before I place an order.

I have an 03 Max, so I would just need (2) D2R 6k bulbs and a H3C 6k fog light kit, all for $190 shipped?

Also I saw some pics of the 50W and 35W ballast difference in an earlier post, in your opinion are the 50W ballasts worth it? The light output was noticeably different.

Just wondering if I will be blinding people. What is the price difference as well?

Thanks

Interested in a 9003 low beam and H3 fog kit for 2001 Maxima with stock non-projector housings, but a few questions before I order (bare with me boss).....

1.) Any pics of these in the stock '01 housings? I know most usually advise against this due to the glare for oncoming traffic, but anyone care to comment on this if they've seen it in person? I've searched through the first 30pages or so with no luck.

2.) Has the 6000k, with or without non projectors, given anybody problems with the cops?

3.) I may chose to upgrade to 02-03 projectors in the future, so all I would need to do is purchase the d2r bulb correct?

4.) Anyone have pics or suggestions on where to install the ballasts? (especially the fog ballasts)

5.) Difference between these and the $50 group deal kits from Umnitza?????

apologies in advance for all the ?'s

MaximusMorpheus, I have the same concern regarding blinding people. I got the 50 watts in my fogs and headlights and they are mad bright! which is why I inquired about reaiming them. Im gonna try adjusting the headlamp screws as suggested and see if it helps.

hey i just installed mine 6000k on my 01 and i loved them bright! and have not had any problems wit cops and not sure if they car much. i installed my headlight ballast (read in search pages) i put driver side standing up wit the fuse box in front of battery took screw out put retainer than screw it down, passenger side i did almost same thing but with the coolant reservoir and it looks perfect. and i didnt bother looking at Umnitza because of all the great reviews for operatic and trust me i was very pleased.

Thanks for the info boss, could you post some pics? I think pics in the '01 housings would actually be helpful to all who are interested. If you can, I'd also like to see the install/engine bay

I have a 2003 maxima, I was reading that the H3c 6000k fog bulbs won't match my 6000k headlight bulbs as well as a normal H3 6000k bulb, is that true?
