Well I ordered the 6k D2R bulbs and 6k H3c Fog kit and am very happy with the outcome. Operatic was great in responding to some questions I had and what can you say overnight shipping can not be beat!! I can definitely see better at night when driving!

I used these instructions(link below) and everything went really smooth. I did buy new fog light assembly's like the ones from the instructions since both of mine were cracked and had to switch the wiring like the instructions states but no big deal. I did have to re aim my fogs since one was higher than the other.

Here are some pics:

The H3c and H3 bulb are identical when it comes to color, the only difference they have is in respect size.

You need a 9006 kit, also so you know, custom color blue is rather deep in person and will more than likely get you pulled over.

would you know if running 6 ballests of wither wattage would be too much for the electrical system on a 99 max se. 2 fogs 2 lows and 2 low/hi this is odviously a retro job. just wondering if i would ruin my alt i dont have any other electrical things in the car like subs or amp jsut a stock max with bose. any help would be greatly appreciated before i buy.

No you would be fine since HIDs run at a lower power consumption than halogen bulbs.

So I have a 6th gen and I am going to be completing the 2008 Bumper swap. I want to get HID's for my fogs in the headlights and my fogs that will go into the bumper. The thing is I dont know how I'm going to connect both and get power. Do I need to splice one set into the ballast of the other somehow? Do I need to use only one ballast for both sets of fogs or do I use both ballasts?

The only difference between the 2007 and 2008 is the headlight bulb size. The fog lights use the same bulb size. As for getting them power, they will get power from the factory connections. No cutting or splicing involved. As for ballast, you get 1 ballast for each bulb. So for the fog lights you would have 2 ballast, one for each side.

Do replacement bulbs come with the bulb connectors or are all bulb connectors universal?

All replacement bulbs come with the connectors that will also go to the ballast and OEM connection.

You would need an H4 kit and the fog lights use an H3. To fit the fog lights you would just need to stick a screw driver into the back of the housing and push the metal cut off shield a little forward to accept the HID bulb

I guess operatic is on vacation. So I'll throw this out to the group. Stock 03 headlights use H3 or H3c capsules right? I've been having a hell of a time searching for that answer... Thanks in advance.
