just thought i'd post in here to let you know that your HID's are amazing and they still work after about a month and a half (I purchased TWO sets from maximabest last year and BOTH of them had a bulb blow on me after a month)

I'll post some pics of my setup shortly... and I'll be back to purchase a set of HID's for my fogs since my fogs look like crap now compared to the HID's in my headlight.

+1 to operatic for a quality product!

$160 is our normal price for HIDs. Can't go wrong with that price and our customer service.

The Mark LT uses 4300k for the headlights and 6000k for the foglights

Hey, my uncle wants a HID kit for his 06 Passat after he saw mine. Can you double check for me if the low-beams are H7, and is the price still $140 or are we back to $160?

The 2006 Passat either comes with D1S bulbs (if it came with HIDs from the factory or H7 if it came with halogens. Now it is just what color your uncle wants. I sent you a PM

What are the wiring harnesses like for your Bi-Xenon kits for cars with H4 bulbs?

I ordered a "custom" kit for a friend's Passat from you, but it was single Xenon.

Basically, now I want to buy a kit with D2S bulbs and a bi-xenon relay wiring harness that connects to the factory H4 wiring that I can connect to the kit's ballast and to the solenoid wires of the OEM Bi-xenon projector I intend to use. Possible? And if so, price?

If you are doing a retrofit with a bi-xenon projector you would only need a single xenon H4 wiring harness. With them there are 2 unused wires a black (ground) and a blue (12v) that you would have to wire into the retrofitted projectors so it would turn the high and low beam function on / off.

Thanks! Are you still doing next day air shipping?

EDIT: And for purposes of the relay harness would you need to know whether the headlights are positive or negative switched?

I am curious to know if any of you 2000-2001 maxima owners just put the low 9003 in? Do you need the bi-xenon HID's, I would think that the lows would be bright enough. I haven't owned any car with HID's so I have no reference. Also how do they hold up in the OEM Headlights? Any Problems? These kits look great, I plan to get some after I find out if high beam HID's are really needed. Thanks

our relay harness is switched on by a positive.

What I have noticed most people do is get aftermarket projectors for there car so in the case of an H4, they can keep there high beam a halogen and there low beam an HID. If you do not want to go down that route, most people find the HID low beam more than enough to forgo the bi-xenon kit. If you want to keep them, it is up to you. A lot of people tell me how they haven't used there high beams since they got the HIDs.

You can't send PM's until you have 15 post. If you want, you can send me an e-mail, call me, or order online if you already know exactly what type of bulb you need.

The kit I ordered for my friend's Passat was very nice and clean. The wiring harness is a VERY nice touch. Everything fired up as it should!

Unfortunately, the D2S bulbs I used with an H7 adapter didn't fit into the Passat headlights. The D2S base was too big (this was my fault, not the kit's).

It's no big deal, because I can use the D2S bulbs in another retrofit - but what I wanted to know, is if you could post a picture of your re-based H7 HID bulbs?

I'll probably be placing an order for a pair of those soon, provided that the base on them isn't nearly as large as the base on a D2S.

Thanks Operatic!
