The Wizard, Not sure why Sean has not got back to you. I do know he has been busy in the shop working on bracing and finishing up on the 2JZ swap into my MKIII Supra. His hours and mine are opposite. I have forwarded your message to him. I know he has a bunch of stuff going to the powder coater either today or tomorrow.

To everyone that has not recieved their braces yet. The hold up is the powder coaters at this time. If you have any questions about your orders feel free to call me at (320)469-2608 which is my personal cell phone. If I don't answer please leave a message and I will return your call.

And do these weld in with no other modifications??? i.e. brake lines, any mounts in the way, etc. etc.??
Or is it just a have the car on the ground, bolt-together, weld-in application??

thanks!

install

'02_EMILBUS, the install is pretty straight forward. Anyone who has enough mechanical/welding experience to consider installing them, should be able to do it. As far as I know no brake lines nned to be rerouted and our brackets line right up. Several have needed a jack stand to push them into position, but most do not. Anyone who has a set on, please feel free to add comments here.

chassis brace

panda_1, The answer is yes. Expect about 10-14 days lag time. Our powder coater has been swamped and we are getting these back slower than usual. All the information you need is posted earlier in this thread. Anyone else in??

Can someone post a picture of these installed? Or show the instructions on installation?

I am going to have to have someone install these as welding is NOT a skillset of mine and I want to make sure they can do it.

Thanks!

braces

Colonel if you do a simple search there are many threads with install photos, here is a good link: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=403280

The Wizard, Mike picked up the batch of braces yesterday. They just need to be inspected, wrapped, and shipped. If time allows they could be dropped off at Fed Ex today, other wise tomorrow.

Thanks for the update Dan. Please don't forget that my set has the foam injection. Sorry to state the obvious, but it's been so long I figured you might forget considering how busy you guys are.

I have already looked through those. The gentleman that I am looking to have install these is looking for documentation on placement or a picture to show placement (over all).

I would have to imagine such a photo exists somewhere. I am looking for a good under body pic for a 5th gen.

Dan,

I recieved an email from FedEx stating that you shipped the SFC's to me on 3/4/08 with a scheduled delivery date of 3/8/08 (last Saturday). The SFC's still haven't arrived, and when I check the tracking number provided, it now reads "Package data transmitted to FedEx". That's the only info provided now.

Please look into this and let me know when I can expect delivery. Thanks.

We can have these done very soon our fourth gen sets that were paid for went out today. So turnaround would be less than 2 weeks.

Dan and Sean,

On 1/8/08 you stated the SFC's would be ready in two weeks time. After the two weeks went by, I paypal'd you on 1/24/08. It's been 50 days since I paid you. 3.5 weeks ago you disclose there are delays due to powdercoating, only after I ask for a status update. Instead of keeping me/us updated with delays, we have to prod and ask for status updates. That's not very professional IMO.

I've also asked for pics on more than one occasion, and you've acknowledged and stated that pics "will be up tomorrow" Still no pics.

To say the least, I'm getting quit frustrated. Hopefully you see where I’m coming from and don’t take offense to what I’m saying. Afterall, I’m looking forward to seeing the completion of the fender braces and getting a set. I’m also very grateful you guys are an org sponsor and make parts that no one else does…. (Warpspeed doesn’t count in my book )

I’ll be calling you at the number you’ve provided to discuss. Thanks.

I got your message on my cell but it was around 1 am central time so I did not call you back. Your braces should be arriving today. If they are not there today please send me an email to sean.truax@gmail.com As the truaxmotorsports email gets checked by 3 of us and It can be difficult at times to keep track of everything.

I apologize for the inconvenience and will be offering you a reduced rate when we release the fender braces.

End of group buy

Hello All,
This group buy has been a good deal for us at TMS and a heck of a lot of members here. This is to formally announce we will be closing this group buy down. Last day to get in is April 6th at midnight. Any sales after that date will be at our regular rate. The next opportunity for reduced pricing will be at the Houston meet on Memorial day weekend.
Let us know if you want in.

Thanks,

Dan TMS
