It would not be significantly brighter for other drivers as long as you aimed it properly.

Mini unfortunately are a little more, they are $25 more for the bulbs alone.

There is no such thing as a MINI H3C - there is an H3 3K which is in stock. But not the mini. The H3 will fit your housing though.

Would the connection for an regular D2r analog ballast to convert it to h4 be same to use with your digital kit or would i need a new h4 harness?

I'm not following what you are asking.
If you have a MY 2000 Max, you need an H4 kit.
Unless you have a D2R retrofitted headlight. In which case, you simply need an adapter from the H4 connection to the ballast which is 9006.

If you get a HID, you can order an LED bulb kit for $25 more, just paypal $25 more and say "LED KIT + HID KIT MAXIMA Special" on the notes.

However with so much electronics, the computer will know if something is up. Warning light on the dash for Bulb Failure.

Wonder if it can be streamlined into the oem system.

Has anyone ordered and already installed their 3k H3 hid kit? If so, could you post pictures of yours? I'm trying to compare the output of mine to yours.

Any reviews on these 50W kits? I am curious as to how people like them. Another question: I am going to be retrofitting some Lexus projectors into my foglights, which will make the beam yellow. Will using 3000K HIDs with these projectors alter the color, or should I get like a 5000K kit? Thanks for the answers folks!
