What gives for the price difference between the 95-99 and 00-01 header system?

Thanks for pointing that out, I've made the correction - they are the same part, so same price.

Quote: OTHER ENGINE/TRANNY PARTS

Ralco RZ shift-shortening kit for 6MT Maximas and Altimas; regularly $64.99, just $57.99.
You still have this part? Does it really fit Altima's with 6 speeds? Does it keep the reverse lockout? I NEEEDSSSS more infos

The sale ad doesn't allow much room for describing the part, but the first thing to clarify is that this kit shortens the shifter throw, it does not replace the shifter. The widget that shortens the throw is installed where the shifter cable attaches to the tranny, not at the shifter itself.

It is unlikely that we'll ever see a nice shortened shifter replacement for the cable-linked Maxima/Altima 6MT tranny because 1) its very complicated to make with the reverse lockout, and 2) although a shifter could be developed, most companies don't think the market's big enough for the part to be successful. Maybe there's a part I don't know about now, or perhaps one will be made in the future, but this is the input I got from a B&M manager a couple years ago at SEMA.
