called custommaxima yesterday... say that dual tip is in quality assurance stage...~50 units were produced...told to watch forum and/or check back in 1.5 weeks as they should be avail. for purchase then!?

as for the 3"--pretty much nothing! besides lack of 3" bending support...I know you're set on 3", how patient are you?

.........Maybe some questions answered such as dimensions of the muffler and resonator?

yea, i can agree that they can be MIA at times, but keep in mind that thay are not just maxima based so they tend to other forums as well, however customer service is customer service and all questions should be replied to

Business has been picking up a lot, so we do not get very much time to check all the threads on all the forums we sponsor. Your best bet to get updates is to call us toll free. We will be starting a new thread with pics, specs, etc. once the item is ready to by.

As said before, the systems are going through quality assurance. According to what I'm told, it should be about 1 - 1.5 weeks from today. I'll have more specifics on Monday.

 

Been saying this for weeks/months now. Seen thread about new space and asking about group deal ideas. Here's one---FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED!

 

Nobody at your company has 30 minutes every couple of days to read/reply to a couple of threads? Ok that is totally believable!

 

@ custommaxima customer service is a bish because customers are bishes, but you do have to put up with their ish because they are the ones that keep the business afloat, not that i dont believe you (cause i do) but you wont drive loyalty with customers by posting once every 4 months, if the customers at least hear something it makes em feel more comfortable buying from your company... maybe thats one aspect that you guys should work on in growing your company... not any kind of professional but ive been around retail for 6 going on 7 years... take cattman for example, while i think his prices are off the chains on some things, he does keep a good report with his customers and word of mouth on a forum goes an extremely long way...

Exactly why IMO it'd be worth the extra $ to get Cattman. I need catback NOW and would already have new catback on my car had I not seen this thread awhile ago!--oh well, prob be giving Brian a call...

how yall feel about hks exhaust??

 

Depends what you need or are looking for...HKS only offers a rear section-axleback for maximas...thought about getting hks too but i need b-pipe as well...i know the hks muffler itself is stainless but thought i heard the piping on hks sport series are aluminized steel??

seriously,... why it takes this long when they have the rights and dimensions to a 2.5" with a single tip muffler is beyond me.,.. how hard is it to change the blueprints and add a different muffler and run production on that,... im giving up..

 

Guess everybody's gotta wait that year for the next reply, I don't really trust this company anymore... too shady and does not communicate worth ish

A friend of mine locally does pretty good exhaust work. I'll just have him do mine when I get some cash and i'll see if he is willing to do a whole batch of them. It's unlikely he will though.

Not trying to be a d!ck but, I am glad I gave up on this exhaust and ordered the cattman 3", it's expensive but at least I know it exists.

They should at least take a couple teaser pics to keep you interested...and like Sparks said, it doesn't take a whole lot of time to hope on here once a week or whatever to keep people updated. Sheesh...
