NWP Engineering EGR Block Plate Kit for the 6th gen Maxima Uppper Intake Manifold
SubscribeIntroducing the brand new NWP Engineering EGR Block Plate Kit for the 04-08 Nissan Maxima Upper Intake Manifold.

This kit is intended for those that have done an engine swap with the 04-08 Maxima VQ35DE engine and are using a non-EGR ECM such as the 95-99 or 02-03 Maxima ECM. Or you may need this kit if you would like to purchase a used spare 6th gen Maxima UIM, but don't need to run an EGR system.
This kit is not intended to eliminate the EGR system on a street driven 04-08 Maxima, since that will prevent you from passing emissions as well as give you a check engine light. So no EGR block plug will be included for the RH exhaust manifold. If there becomes a demand for this plug, I will be able to develop a full kit. But at this time, I don't think there's a need.
The kit will come with the following:
- 1/4" High Quality CNC Machined EGR Block Plate (Made from 6061 Billet Aluminum)
- 2 Properly Sized Zinc Plated Flange Bolts
- Printed Detailed Installation Instructions with Photos
- Two Die Cut Silver Vinyl NWP Engineering Decals
Will fit the following manifolds:
- 2004 - 2008 Nissan Maxima Upper Intake Manifold (6th generation 3.5L DOHC V6 VQ35DE with EGR)
- 2005 - 2006 Nissan Altima Upper Intake Manifold (3.5L DOHC V6 VQ35DE with EGR)
- 2004 - 2008 Nissan Quest Upper Intake Manifold (3.5L DOHC V6 VQ35DE with EGR)
Retail Price: $35.00
Introductory Sale Price: $19.85 ($22.97 shipped)
USPS First class domestic shipping will be $3.12.

There won't be any gains if you aren't already running an EGR system. What are the gains for this??
But if you would like to eliminate your EGR system, you may run into problems passing emissions. Eliminating the EGR system will prevent the hot and dirty exhaust gases from being recirculated back into your intake manifold. This will result in cleaner, cooler air with more oxygen. The HP gains will probably only be around 1-2 hp though. The biggest reason why I eliminate my EGR system on my race engines is to remove clutter from the engine bay and keep the inside of the manifold clean.

I ordered this to eliminate my EGR when I switch to headers this winter. Between an oil catch can and doing away with the EGR I'm just doing what I can to clean up my intake manifold and create a consistant combustion chamber environment. A tune should take care of the negative aspects of deleting the EGR.Originally Posted by Aaron92SE

Oh yeah, it's going to look good at the same time. Was going to make one myself but why bother at this awesome price.

Plenty of kits in stock. I plan to keep this introductory price through the holidays. After that, they will probably go back to the regular price.
