Round 5, eh? You skipped round four...but it may be a bit as the 60 people so far who have purchased in the first three rounds combined have put up several pictures and reviews...for 4th and 5th gen alike.

 

did you guys have to correct the alignment?! I am very sceptical of correcting the alignment unless absolutely necessary, had only unpleasant experiences with shops doin a shiety job. Once I took any of my past cars for an alignment, the tire wear always became worse, the car was never the same, I cant let that happen to my Max

 

Car to car trial really. Everyone says to try it for a few days and see how it is. Some people need them and some dont. There really is not a definitive answer.

From the seller:

I will have most of the shipping info tomorrow and Friday. I am still waiting for a few more springs to get in apparantly where the springs come from had a new year holiday of 2 weeks (I think it is the chinese or japanese new year) so shipping will be on friday most likely and everyone will start seeing everything to them on monday and individual emails will follow with tracking information.

The Chinese New Year day is on February 12th, 2002 and Japanese is said to be January 1 but the year starts February 12, 2002 as well...not totally sure this is relevant or completely correct but just to try and keep you informed.

I just emailed Borgoli74@aol.com to ask about prices and the AOL postmast replied "unknown user". You guys sure you didn't fall for the old Chinese/Japanese New Year scam? Don't want to sound any false alarms, but how long have you all been waiting on delivery since payment?

search is your freind...that is the sellers website and I do not anticipate them having the springs jumping out at the first one to land on the page...so I did not make a booby...I said Contact them at

I e-mailed this guy and got a GD number...e-mailed him back the next day to get his phone number and he said it was too late?!

I emailed the seller several times to that email addy, but I haven't hear anything from him since the day I paid. I'm not saying he is up to something, but I really want to know the status on things

 

If you look at the other maxspeed group deals this is typical. It takes a while to get the springs shipped to him and them repackaged and shipped out. He isn't the best at relaying info, but you can't beat the price.

It took 3 weeks from when everyone paid for the springs to arrive for the last GD.

 

I have sent All who paid last Thursday and Friday you will be receiving an email with tracking numbers today or tomorrow. those of you close to CA willl probably receive your items before the tracking gets to you Out of the 27 people who originally confirmed their order with me only about 17 people finally paid by the deadline date. I gave a full 5 days for people to pay and some emailed me the last minute on if they could get in on the GB. I will be holding another round as well. I am also working with Rod Stillen to get some great deals on other suspension and performance components for everyone
