the deal will not start till wed 5th. the peice is still being worked on for the 5th gens. price will hopefully be less than 250 cd(165ish us). i will post when i have the exact price and info to place the orders....it will be before wed though.

 

yea, i'm also interested....if its just as good as warspeed, i'll buy the stainless steal mandrel bent one....

This is not a warpspeed pipe. It is a budget pipe.

 

now i know this is a long thread....but please read it before posting. as for the sound search. it all depands on your setup. i am wating to get conformation that everything is all set for wed. i will post all the required info for ordering and what pipes are avaliable for what years as soon as i can.

 

i just called budget myself and they are alreay taking orders for 250CD/180US shipped via ground. orders must go through e-mail at mufflers@netcom.ca

 

i don't know if they are already taking orders or what but i was told it will start the 5th. anyway.....
they will accept money orders and once payment is recieved the order will be shipped. shipping is included in the price via ground.

the only pipe available is for the 4th gen, the non-mandrel bent painted black one. the price is 250 cdn (about 165 us) unfortunately the pipes aren't available for the 5th or 3rd gens yet.

orders can be sent to mufflers@netcom.ca . you must include name, address, phone #, method of payment info. judy will be out of the office thurs-sun, so if you get no response don't be alarmed. they will get back to you.

well the only reason u got the cattman for $200 is that it's used
and not only that, it might have a problem with it

these y-pipes are brand new and still cost less

 

it's obviously used......but i'm saying the price isn't all that great, and nothing is wrong with it, not even the bee sounds that everyone says. 165 kinda sux, ill be honest, they could go lower, i guess since all the others are so much more they can get away with it, oh and buy the way that pipe is painted and isn't stainless still so it might andn probably will rust..atleast the paint

 

$165 sux? What planet are you on? First, if you read the thread, you would know that this is for a stainless steel pipe painted black. The cheapest (stainless steel) alternative is the Warpspeed stainless, which is $275 plus shipping. This is almost double the cost of the budget pipe (which includes shipping...) So explain to me why $165 shipped sux?

 

How come the website only mentions F pipes?? Sorry I'm new to this stuff I'm still going to purchase just curious.

 

The F pipe is the same as the Y pipe. Go ahead and order your pipe now.

165 shipped. For the ss painted black, but what size is it? And how much is it more for the mandrel bend with 3in? anyone know how far this place is from toronto?

 

They don't do mandrel bent y-pipes and they don't do 3" either unless you want to get something custom made. Its about 30 mins west of Toronto. I think they are 2" into a 2 1/2 not sure exactly they don't advertise the size, neither does anyone else that I am aware of. However they do work and work well.

 

how much of a difference is it with the mandreal bent? or even the 3in? or both. thanks

 

No one has proven there is any increase in HP by using mandrel vs non-mandrel. The budget seems to work pretty well in my car. The bends on the Y-Pipe are very long so very little difference between it and mandrel bent one. I also have their 2 1/2" mandrel bent b-pipe as well as their hi-flo cat. 3" won't work very well unless you have a turbo, probably get a decrease in HP from all I have read with N/A or Nitrous.

Has anyone having trouble getting a response from Jody (?) . I sent in my order at 11am yesterday but still nothing. Could the order have been placed but i just haven't gotten the email yet or sumthin ?
